We've been down this road before haven't we? Indeed, we have. This time should a bit more reliable though, as the date came from Sega themselves. The new release date for Happy Tree Friends: False Alarm is June 25, the week after next. The game itself is a menagerie of differing gameplay types and focuses, strangely enough, on trying "to save the characters from gruesome demise." After being jerked around a bit with this title it's good to know that it'll be seeing the light of day sooner rather than later. Makes me want an updated Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers game in the same fashion.
Heck, they could even twist things up and make each character represent one of the seven deadly sins.

I've seen the cartoon in the past - I'm moreso wondering how that translates into a game, exactly. Is this just a collection of minigames?

Happy Tree Friends is shitty Flash shock art, made solely so 6th graders can think they're cool by watching unadulterated violence.
