What we'd really like for you to check out is the "tech demo" showing off the game's incredible engine. Series creators Matt and Mike Chapman write that their "engine is about 98% finished" but they're still having "some trouble with the fence physics or 'phensics' as they say in the gaming industry." It's true, the phensics don't look quite right ...
New screens, video, 'tech demo' for Telltale's Strong Bad

It won't be long now. Despite a short delay into the far-off month of July (or: "next month"), Telltale's episodic adaptation of Strong Bad – delicately titled Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People – will be opening mail on WiiWare and PC shortly. To get you in the mood, Telltale just dropped a handful of new screens along with a new gameplay video on our doorstep (seriously, just left it there).

If it plays as well as Sam & Max, then I'll be interested in it for the PC. While it doesn't look as fun as Penny Arcade's episode game, it sure beats the recent release of Frogger 2 on XBLA.

I can understand your plight, Haggard. I'm the same way with survival horror games. My love for point-and-click games comes from Leisure Suit Larry and The Secret of Monkey Island. I dig how they can stuff a lot of goodies into the games. I suppose it's because they didn't/don't have to worry about graphics, cut scenes, and spoken dialogue.

I hope this game doesn't turn out to be total crap.

*laughs* Ahh, Strong Bad you've come a long way from your roots in the NES game Tag Team. Actually looking forward to SBCGFAP, need a good point-and-click game with quality humor. Never found Penny Arcade the least bit funny, maybe the occasional, "Heh yeah, that's kinda funny I guess."

Neither are funny. Online comics and Strong Bad are pretty fail at humor. Only super-nerds find that kind of 10-year old humor humorous.
IMO of course.

Penny Arcade tries to hard and is overly obvious. I like Strong Bad's silly childish humor, it's freaking great. It is especially refreshing after you spend your days with ignorant trendy frat boys and xbox live users that say "fuck" and "like" every other word thinking they're hilarious.
