I hope this party isn't one of those ones that ends badly, with announcements of cancellations, or flips to Xbox 360 exclusives. That wouldn't be a fun party at all.

Agreed... After the SO news, I don't think I could take much more of that stuff.

As a 360 owner with no real intentions of getting a PS, I'll admit that I still cannot wait to get a look at the next Final Fantasy.

Not sure but the katakana at the top is:

Puraibeto Paati!
(Private Party!)

Sorry, nothing to see here. Move along.

@CJ Lopez

I know is the name of the Square Enix's event but I was wondering why was it name DKΣ3713. In other words, is there a meaning behind it?

Sony has managed to perform some serious pooch-screwing with regards to SquareEnix, and left the door open for Microsoft to make some important inroads into the JRPG market. We just got Sony saying they're revising their policy of paying for exclusives -- this is no doubt a reaction to the news that we're just getting about Star Ocean and Last Remnant.

Grease those palms, Sony. It may not be the way you've played the game in the past, but Microsoft is in position to set the rules now, and this is how they like to operate.

the xbox is getting the grade B JRPG's we get FF and Vs. Not to mention we'll get all the xbox ones as well, just a little later.

Just because YOU consider them B-grade, doesn't mean that people who prefer to play JRPGs or really RPGs in general aren't considering jumping ship to the 360. The PS3 currently has next to nothing, and it's quickly approaching two full years on the market... Kinda sad, really. I'm a shooter kinda guy, honestly, but even I see there's a problem here, and I feel bad for my friends who want their RPGs.
