We've got something special for you in this week's Virtually Free giveaway: the chance to live as a king! Manage your peasants, live in a castle, and jaunt around in puffy shorts, all on our dime. Of course, it's virtual, but hey -- we never promised the moon. Or a kingdom. But we are promising Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King ($15) to one lucky reader!

Second, you must be a legal resident of the United States with an American Wii (sorry, Canadians, we have to leave you out of this one; blame the gifting system and not us!) and 18 years of age or older. Lostwinds. It's just such a well designed game, with great polish. It's exactly what I was hoping WiiWare would be like.

I'm surprised how much I like My Pokémon Ranch.

World of Goo looks interesting.... and butterfly garden will drive my husband insane :)

Lost Winds 2!

Haven't bought any yet, but Dr. Mario and Lost Winds look like the best of the bunch. On the fence about FF, which is why it'd be nice to get it for free :)

Defend Your Castle.

Well, Lost Winds excites me most. I don't have it; but it excites me to see just how high quality WiiWare games ALREADY are. To think about Nintendo expanding memory (through a hard drive, and/or a new Wii model) and allowing the games to be made even bigger, and developers becoming even MORE familiar with it can only improve the situation makes me happy.

So far, none of the games I've seen for WiiWare have me excited in a "Must buy it" way, they have me excited in a "Wow, this can only get better" way. I'm hoping that Kenta Cho (ABA Games; you should know of TUMIKI Fighters, the inspiration for Blast Works) makes something for Wiiware like he did for XNA.

I don't really need extra room in Pearl, but My Pokemon Ranch looks interesting, if only for the Mew and other Pokemon you can pick up from it. Nevermind that you'd have to send 999 Pokemon to the game to *get* the Mew...

Strong Bad and Lost Winds!

LostWinds has been one of the best videogame experiences I have ever had.

I'd have to say Strongbad, so far.

Conduit! After playing Metroid Prime 3 and seeing how well a FPS can be done on the Wii, I want to see CONDUIT!!!

Strongbad's Cool Game For Attractive People is definitely the one I'm most excited about. What can be better than five episodes spanning 3-4 hours a piece? that's like fifteen hours of Strongbad!

FF: MLAAK, Lost Winds, and Strongbad

I really would like to get the puzzle games on wiiware like the Dr. Mario remix and the new tetris from ubisoft (i think?).

Dr Mario Online Rx is awwwwwwwwwesome. Downloaded it and can’t get enough. Even the online multiplayer is pretty easy to get into.
