To say I'm excited about this game is SUCH an understatement. Thank you High Voltage, your efforts to bring us beautiful, imaginative, and diverse games on both the Wii and WiiWare is very much appreciated. I'll be buying each and every one of them.

Awsome! Count on me to be a Day One purchaser. I love a good FPS and if screen grabs look this good, I can't wait to see it in motion. Conduit's new Wii-centric engine holds a lot of promise.

Has there been any word on a publisher for this title yet? Considering the Wii's constantly growing install base, I can't believe they don't have publishers standing in line around the block to talk to them.

Someone on the joystiq article yesterday claimed that Matt C said that High Voltage has several publishers lined up, but isn't committing to anyone until they have the game mostly finished. That way they don't have a publisher looking over their shoulder making "suggestions" that might hurt creative control

Matt Casamassina did confirm on a Nintendo Voice Chat 2-3 weeks ago that High Voltage was being courted by many publishers.

And like Mr Kahn said, they are waiting so the publisher doesn't muck anything up.

This game is looking better with each update. I'm a bit skeptical of this developer's ability, but those screens show some very crisp visuals in gritty but colorful environments. They're definitely on the right track.

Keep in mind, however, that when it comes to Wii FPS, the success is always in the framerate and the controls. Metroid Prime 3 is the only one that's perfectly delivered this combination.

As long as the gameplay matches the screenshots quality I'll be buying this game on it's release date. Don't let me down High Voltage!

Looks good but I hope the hype machine doesn't chew up another game by making it impossible to meet expectations by the time it is finally released.

It's a 3rd-party game, that'll help keep expectations low for a lot of people

Not me, but a lot of others.

Beautiful indeed. Some of the environments still seem bland from a design standpoint, but its all well-rendered, and the enemies seem imaginative enough, as it seems they're blending elements found in other sci-fi titles

Yeah, I was wondering why the environments looked like a late '90s style with massively repeating textures and little variation. I hope poor art-direction on the environments doesn't kill the game.

And could we get a little antialiasing? I would sacrifice some detail--even live with a 30fps game--for antialiasing.

Is it just me , or do some of the enemies remind you of Metroid Hunter's bounty hunter designs? The one in particular with the pointy head...

Not that it really matters. Out of any shooter to be influeced by I'll be happy it's Metroid!

This thing definitely looks like its head was inspired by Ridley:

But, who cares! If they're taking inspiration from Metroid Prime, that is AWESOME. They could look for inspiration in many, many more horrible places.

I was thinking more along the lines of these guys... they look like grey versions of the red bounty hunter in Metroid Hunters:

Like I said, I totally agree.. If they are going to find influences from other games, Metroid is a great place to start lol.

Actually, on second thought.. screw Metroid, they should take influence from Red Steel. That right there is the mastery of the wiimote if I ever saw it ::heavy sarcasm::

Am I the only one who simply does not see the appeal?

From what I can tell, it's Timesplitters with Xbox360 graphics. How is this revolutionary in any way?

Like most god-loving people, I bought a Wii so that I might perchance to play quality mini-games such as Carnival Games and Rayman: Raving Rabbids; and yet these cretins actually expect me to suffer through some beautifully-rendered, imaginative, experiential piece of garbage?

Nuts to you, High Voltage, nuts to you indeed.

Shouldn't it be "the graphics suck" and not "sucks". And another thing, this is "nintendo WII fanboy" and not "I like to come here and discredit the wii" fanboy. That's why they have PS3 Fanboy, for people like rodrigo.

Its looking pretty good. But as stated a few things should be set before this game could be a great. Controls and the framerate indeed.

But as well, it does seem to be lacking a good art direction. Its like they ran with everything but good textures and more fleshed out models. Heres hoping they nail those and add a good FULL multiplayer package and well have a good game under the wii :)

I'm hoping MP3 controls + Half-Life 2 sci-fi story line, ooh baby the enjoyment this game can bring if it is so.

As much as I liked MP3, I hope this goes for more action, less puzzles, and has a local mulitplayer option with bots.

I've been wondering about local multiplayer too - if this has it we'll definitely buy it. So far I've only found Far Cry Vengeance and Red Steel for local multiplayer shooters - are there any others I don't know about?

How to set images to 100% in the gallery??? Clicking on every image "View Image..." isn't fun.

And 480p isn't that much of resolution to scale it down even further.
