PS3 exclusives sell 45% better than multiplatform releases

Mightn't this be a negative thing? I mean, the reason that the multiplatform titles sell less *might* be because people are buying them on other systems, meaning that exclusive titles will naturally sell more.

I don't know. I just don't understand how this can be construed as something that is good. Now if it were a more indepth study that found out whether not these people bought the multiplatform title on another platform or not, it'd be much more reliable.

As an example I own a PS3 and 360. All my PS3 titles are exclusives, where as my 360 has both exclusives and multiplatform titles (my friends don't own a PS3, so I buy the 360 titles so I can join games with them). This doesn't mean I think PS3 exclusives are better than the multiplatform games (like the article implies), it just means I chose to play the multiplatform games on a different system.

So true, I mostly only support ps3 exclusives b/c they offer unrivaled production values , quality, and give me the omg I'm playing a movie feeling. Also, devil may cry 4 is my only multiplatform so far b/c I love the franchise.

Stop acting like everyone can afford a gaming rig. Initial price plus the fact that you have to continuously update to keep up with times makes PC gaming too expensive for most of us.

Yes a lot games developed for 360 come out on PC but as far "your average Joe" (that doesn't have 2000+ $ laying around ) said games are 360 exclusives not available on any other gaming console.

Claiming that tittle is not exclusive to 360 just because it's also available on PC is being a tad bit ignorant. Yes the tittle is available on another system called PC. But to most PC is not an option.

It's like saying "The R33 isn't exclusive to Japan, I have seen them in NYC". Yeah you are right.. I have seen them too. But do you know how much that person had to go through to get that into the states from Japan. I would understand if the car we were talking about was an Camry. Something easily accessible.

To the GRAND majority of gamers when a game is on PC and 360, 360 is the only affordable option.

Why does he make mention of Uncharted and MGS4 as if they were technological achievements that the competition can not equal?

From a technological perspective I don't see a single feature in these games that significantly surpasses any other game on 360.
