They should have included 10 fewer matches in the study - that would have been so win.

I've always felt that blue had an advantage in Halo, because man of the indoor maps seem to have colors that make blue just a little harder to see.

On the outdoor maps like Sandtrap and Highground, it's much easier to blend with the orange-ish background with a red player than a blue player...lol

Actually, in Halo 2 red had a huge advantage on some maps. On beaver creek especially, if you were red team you would almost win every time. The key to winning on that map was by holding red base...the base at which red team spawns at. The base was constructed better, the weapons were easier accessed, you had sniper and it was a very hard setup to break. I don't know about all that bull about red being a psychological distractor...

But typically red has the advantage from the get go. Maybe because when designing the maps the creaters were males and were being distracted and not doing their job correctly....

Visually I find it easier to distinguish blue players from the environment.

When milliseconds are king, that extra bit of recognition translates into results.

I have always found that Red Team gets the higher ranked players, especially on Halo. Blue Team loses because they generally get the rubbish 8year old with no rank.
