Woohoo A7X!
jsn @ Jun 13th 2008 5:07PM
not fans of any of the bands, but they will all be fun to play.
Haggard @ Jun 27th 2008 6:32PM
With the benefit of hindsight I can now point out that the Afterlife solo is a bitch :P
CTC XBL-supapaypamawio PSN-ctclaw @ Jun 13th 2008 5:09PM
These bands look like a bunch of dad haters.
343 Guilty Fart @ Jun 13th 2008 5:11PM
Must have been tough on them, growin' up in the suburbs and all...
Christian @ Jun 13th 2008 6:01PM
The kids aren't alright.
fecsmith @ Jun 13th 2008 5:10PM
Some A7x, it's about time! - I'm psyched for Tuesday now!!
Brett from Atlanta @ Jun 13th 2008 5:20PM
Yeah, but they could have picked a much better song than critical acclaim...
DWells55 @ Jun 13th 2008 6:35PM
Yeah, I agree on Critical Acclaim, but I like Afterlife a lot, it's pretty catchy. Wouldn't have minded seeing Almost Easy though.
Oh and about time we got some of The Offspring. Hammerhead's a great song and I'll be glad to play it, but I *really* would've liked to see some of their older stuff.
Daniel @ Jun 13th 2008 5:18PM
A7X finally!!!!!!!!!
StevenRafael @ Jun 13th 2008 5:19PM
Damnit. I was excited about the Doolittle album. Oh well, another week isn't bad at all.
Brett from Atlanta @ Jun 13th 2008 5:22PM
At least we finally know when its coming out, instead of hoping that it will here every week just to be disappointed. At Least now we have a date to look forward to.
Cesaria (MKW:2621-2994-1376) @ Jun 13th 2008 5:25PM
I can't wait for Doolittle. Furthermore, I can't wait to watch someone try to sing to "Tame." :P "Here Comes Your Man" FTW!!!
Desert Eagle @ Jun 13th 2008 5:23PM
Are you serious? The Offspring and Crooked X?
Damn, I don't know if I should wait for the Pixies album DLC or buy this pack next week. The devs know how to empty out your wallets...
Vcize @ Jun 13th 2008 5:23PM
Offspring YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
I wish it were some of the older stuff and on GH, but I'll take what I can get. It's about time.
Farseer (GDI) @ Jun 13th 2008 5:35PM
Agree and disagree. :)
Stuff from Ixnay or Americana would really be welcome, but, dude, why would you only want to play the guitar when can play the guitar, bass, drums and sing?
Stump @ Jun 13th 2008 5:41PM
Seriously, the new album is probably good but why not make it a pack with a few classics. Cant get my head my head around you on the drums would be sick.
bearxor @ Jun 13th 2008 6:15PM
Yeah - what I said in the Pixies thread about going on three weeks not buying DLC... Forget it. Huge Offspring fan so I'll at be picking up that track.
I, like you, wish it was older stuff, but hopefully getting a track by the band will be a stepping stone to getting more.
GunForHire @ Jun 13th 2008 7:54PM
Also excited as hell for Hammerhead, and hopefully more tracks.
By the way, their new album kicks ass. Easily their best stuff in the last decade.
bluezy @ Jun 13th 2008 5:31PM
Woo, Sevenfold.

Awesome Offspring! Hoping for more. Go for best of album. :-D
Kyera @ Jun 13th 2008 7:52PM
Wow, that Crooked X track actually sounds like it'll be quite fun to play.
GunForHire @ Jun 13th 2008 7:53PM
Dunno what video for Hammerhead Joystiq picked, but it's an oldie. Hell Ron's still on drums in that video. Obviously some YouTube goon just slapped the audio track onto the footage for some entirely different track.
Mad Hater @ Jun 13th 2008 8:08PM
All people who say "A7X" should be drug out into the street and violently beaten to death with a wooden cooking spoon.

So many music snobs...I'm so glad you're here to tell me whats ok to listen to.

Mad Hater deserves 4 stars.

OFFSPRING OFFSPRING OFFSPRING OFFSPRING.
I swear, as a life long offspring fan, and a LOVER of rock band and guitar hero, this is the best news i've had in my sad little life for months.

Can you tell how happy i am? TIMES THAT BY A HUNDRED.

Avenged Sevenfold : metal :: Good Charlotte : punk
And I never thought I'd use analogies like that after the SATs...
willie @ Jun 14th 2008 12:02AM
Whoa that is an awesome then/now pic. A7X fans would probably recognize the picture
Great selection this week
MC Double Def DP @ Jun 14th 2008 10:51AM
Offspring's Ignition pleez!
ApolloIV @ Jun 14th 2008 8:32PM
I can smell a pain in the ass drum section coming from those Avenged Sevenfold songs.
CrashSpyro123 @ Jun 16th 2008 12:05AM
Hopefully Hammerhead sells well enough that we see some stuff off of Ixnay, Americana, or Conspiracy.
