SimCity Societies demo (finally) available

We know your type. You've been waiting for a demo of SimCity Societies to see if the game is right for you. Finally, after 213 impatient days, the now self-publishing Tilted Mill Entertainment have released a demo for the city builder, which you can find at Big Download.

Metareviews and Yahtzee be damned, check the game out and decide for yourself. SimCity Societies is part of The SimCity Box, due out June 23.

This has to be the longest time in gaming history a demo was released after the full game! WTF?

This essentially made sure that anyone who was curious enough with cash in their pocket, bought it. If I had tried the demo, I wouldn't have forked out $5 for this damn thing.

This game sucks
It should be titled: Sims: Neighborhood.
It is not the city management game that it used to be.
City Life is a much better game, and it stays truer to Sim City than Sim City!

I can't run the demo: out of date video card. There's a reason why I haven't played a PC game released in the last five years.

They published a demo now because they've improved/changed a lot of the game with some major patches since release. And it's not like all those people on Metacritic are going to go back and re-review the game.

I tried it, it's no longer broken but it's still boring as hell. Oh micromanagement strategy genre, what has happened to you?
