The World Ends With You shortage ends for you

A quick jaunt to some of the larger online stores confirmed it. Both Amazon and GameStop's e-store have the game ready to ship. GameStop's physical locations have also begun receiving re-stocks, but it's not on shelves in all areas just yet. For now, if you want in on the game's oh-so-hip (and seriously confusing to some) RPG action, hitting up one of the bigger shops on the net is your best bet.

I love this game.
I'm waiting for the new Square game called Sigma Harmonics. Hope it have the same quality as The World Ends With You.

I'm tempted to buy this game. A friend let me try it and I found it interesting. The only thing I don't like is the main character. He fucking pisses me off so much.
Fernando Rocker @ Jun 13th 2008 4:09PM
Nahh... he is ok. What Square needs is to do a character with a big mullet. That would be nice.

Neku is a pretty big whiner. He's ok for the first bit but then his whining about how he doesn't need anyone gets old.

....
No. Fernando, just no.
Pedobear @ Jun 13th 2008 8:17PM
Neku is only a bitch in the first week of the game, not so bad later on.

i was really excited for it, but then i forgot about it. then i realized it was out, but i couldnt find it. i would really like to try a demo of it first cause i thought i saw somewhere that the fight system was a little weird. maybe ill hit up GameTrailers or something to find out and pick this bad boy up next time i see it.

I'll pick it up eventually. My backlog of RPGs on PSP is immense.

What do you think about the Wizard of Oz RPG for the DS that I showed you?

I'm kind of iffy on the art style and it makes me lament the loss of American McGee's Oz. Could be alright, but if I was making an RPG based on some classical fantasies, I'd definately pick something more along the lines of Alice in Wonderland. But who knows, if they focus only on the most famous chapter of the Oz novels, it'll be fairly missable. But if they take the well known chapter as a starting point rather than the entire saga, could be a blast. I heard the later novels were quite good, but I heard the same thing of Narnia which I recently read and wished I could unread immediately afterwards...

I hope a lot of people pick this up so Squeenix will continue to try different things with their games.
And also because CALLING IS NOW PLAYING IN YOUR HEAD needs to torture more people.

I've been playing this game at work lately, it's a pretty fun game and one of the only RPG's that I find myself looking to get in fights for fun.

This game will be delicious pudding. The pudding...of their doom.
CTC XBL-supapaypamawio PSN-ctclaw @ Jun 13th 2008 4:36PM
HAHAHA I read that like 6 times trying to figure out where that was from and then I realized I just played that part about 10 minutes ago.

F This ! F...for FABULOUS !
One of THE BEST GAMES of all time.
wootman @ Jun 13th 2008 8:09PM
It was awesome.
Needs a sequel IMHO, because i loved it so much.
the main character gets gradually less whiny, and theres some pretty awesome characters and plot twists.
CynicalStrike @ Jun 13th 2008 8:26PM
I bought this game on a whim the other day but haven't really gotten into it yet. Still, the combat seems fun (thank Christ it's real-time!) and the art direction is great, so I'll keep playing. I've got the time now, as my 360 just died after 18 months of faithful service.

Thank the heavens a great DS game is actually getting the sales it deserves!
