The second time was on purpose.

But back to the news story, is there anywhere i can read the entire thing?
Or shall i just keep pressing F5 on X3F? I'm guessing the latter.

GH2 & GH3 had very limited downloadable content, even though it was touted as one of its great features.

So I think I'll skip GH4 and just get Rock Band when it comes out to Aussieland.

I still suspect they will still get some great sales based off the Guitar Hero name.

GH4 has custom tracks, eliminating the need for DLC.

Which is awesome.

No...

But I know eh? It sucks that we won't/haven't gotten rock band here yet =(

Wow, Neversoft is adding a new feature to the guitar!
How innovative (Not)
I hate GH now.
GH 1&2 were awesome, GH3 was horribly charted, and GH from now on is down right terrible.
I'm guessing in 3 years GH will be right next to Tony Hawk today.
:Goes to go play Rock Band:

I love how you just assume that any game ever created under the Guitar Hero persona will be terrible. Stereotyping at its finest.

Guitar Hero is such a bad game and their equipment is cheap crap.

im baffled as to why you're here complaining about a franshise you don't like and a game that hasn't been played, or even shown, to the public yet.

furthermore, guitar hero's equipment is without question the highest quality amongst the rhythm game genre.

that said, i don't really like guitar hero all thatm uch anyway. GHII was fun but the hammering sysem annoyed me. GHIII fixed it but the songs and note charts were ridiculous. (It's hard to not get excited when i see the word Muse in there though)

One would just hope that the touch sensitive neck is VERY responsive because some of those guitar solos I've seen require quick fingers. No tactile feedback needs to be balanced by responsiveness.

We already know it's called Guitar Hero: World Tour.
We already know it's called Call of Duty: World at War, also.

Anyone notice a pattern?

because Guitar Hero 3 on the PC doesnt already have that, but when they are moderated by EA its gonna be tons of fun listening to the shit people come up with and no Canon Rock

This game is gonna rock. Finally they put in The Doors. Wireless Instruments. Custom Tracks. Weekly DLC. Same price as Rock Band. Finally can say goodbye to you Rock Band queers. I just hope this game stays true to the classic rock and roll. New music is good like Muse and System of a Down but not too much of it. Now just tell me who Im gonna be guitar battling. Eddie Van Halen? Is he out of rehab?

I'll buy the Guitar/Game combo.. I don't care enough about the drums to buy the whole kit. That said, it's funny to see everyone bitching about this, but they'll be perfectly fine when RockBand 2 comes out and includes all new instruments as well.

Touch sensitivity would be great if the touch-pad replaced the strum bar and allowed you to play with a pic stylus a la Guitar Hero on Tour for the DS.

With ALL this time passing with Rock Band being synonymous with online/co-op/plastic instrument-video gamery, coming out with a nearly copy-cat list of accessories and plenty of "US TOO!!!1!!" attitude, all EA has to do with rockband is put a better-made drumkit in the bundle when RB2 is ready to go and price it $20 cheaper than GH4.

Activision is just TOO late to the party.

Nice sounds like some sweet rumors, I'm a big fan of the GH franchise and this one sounds awesome and so far the song lineup isnt looking too bad.

Am I ever glad I got rid of that shitty rockband bundle, man that stuff was cheap shit.

they are listing off all sorts of promices for GH4 ... i'll believe it when i see it. and enjoy the hell out of rockband right now. at this point rockband is simply so much more fun than guitar hero... loved 2 .. 3 was at best ok. some good music .. some horrible covers. La Grange ... vocals .. need i say more
