X3F Live Online Now! [Update]

Update: Well, it seems that no internet was any match for a decent game of Team Fortress 2. All of us (Xav, Richard and Dustin) attempted to get a game going but twice it crashed and once it was so laggy your character went for a swim in the 2Fort water without your permission! So. That in mind, tomorrow night at 9:30 PM - 11:30 PM we're going to host a roundtable of Halo 3 madness! Join us tomorrow and let us all thank Team Fortress 2's bad connection for a great time! Thaaaaaaaaank Youuuuuuuuu.

Just so the entire night isn't a bust. Some of our team are going to play some random online games and would love for you to join up. If you see any of us online playing, drop us a line and request an invite!

Original Post: That's right kids. Right now you are invited to jump onto Xbox Live and partake in some quality games of Bomberman Live and Team Fortress 2!

As usual add X3FLIVE to your friends list and use the Friends of Friends feature to track down Richard (SenseiRam), Dustin (SuperDunners), Alexander (Sli Xander) and/or Xav (Snypz) and try to jump into an open session. We still need to set up a telethon to save Terrence's internets.

So to recap. Just join the game in progress and if you don't find your way in send Xav (Gamertag Snypz) a message requesting to be invited. We are going to try and get as many people in the game as possible!

i think they passed on buying cod4. i could be wrong.

Only I own it, we typically try to play games we all own.

So my question would be, how does only one of the writers from X3F have the top XBL game? Not trying to be a jerk, just curious. :)

Ah, that's a shame. It really is a good game.

I do think it's a bummer that you all don't have COD4, that would be a great one to do. I guess Xav could host one... Bomberman was great, and from what I read online the phrase "You play like Jarett" pops up when you've had a exceptionally bad round.

I'm sorry but tf2...on 360.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That being said I might jump into Bomberman or play tf2 on my pc.

Glad that it's postponed - I logged on about 10 after 11 EST and everyone was gone tonight - tomorrow works much better.

And TF2 is a great choice - quite the entertaining setup. How can not enjoy your cartoony body parts exploding into tiny shreds.

Wouldn't let me join TF2, even when invited. Hopefully I can join Halo though.

I had the same problem last night. I was not able to join when invited. However, I also noticed that my NAT was reset to Strict. By the time I reconfigured my router to allow NAT to be Open, it was midnight (EST) and many had started playing Halo 3.

I'd love to play TF2 but I sold my Xbox version of Orange Box for the PC version. Free updates, better controls, 32 player, and no lag! I wish the xbox version had been as good, but it just wasnt.

We should all get on and play the Battlefield Demo :D

Just to confirm - EST is 8hrs behind GMT?
So 10pm EST is 6am the following day GMT? Not good!

Well it's 5hrs behind going by the time & date of the comments. Now I'm really confused! Are they not EST?

EST is GMT-5. So the comment time is correct.

PST (i.e. West coast of the US) is the one that's GMT-8

I had a great time playing with the X3F guys. (SuperDunners, Snyps, SensaiRam, & Sli Xander). Finally I was able to play Bomberman with a full room of people. SUPER HAPPPY FUN TIME!

I'll definately join up for Halo 3 tonight and give ya'll battle rifle nightmares. ;)

Btw, SensaiRam & Sli Xander, why don't you accept my friend invite? T_T

My guess is that their friends list is full. That is why they try to use the X3F Live gamertag, but that seems to fill up quickly too. Maybe one day Microsoft will come up with a solution to help fix this...

Well, it wasn't a total bust. I was able to host a game with Richard, Dustin and some readers, which was fun. We even were able to expose Dustin to a class based shooter. Still haven't heard what his throughts were, but it looked like he was having fun being killed by my turret...

yesterday tf 2 was okay just alot of technical problems but halo 3 was fun even though i sucked at it
