According to that BluRay that came with the MGS4 CE, Itagaki said in an interview that he actually respected Kojima.

I guess there's a chance of world peace afterall.

I think their giant egos would collide so hard that it'd create a super massive black hole and destroy the Milky Way.

Why are they finally deciding to sue Tecmo now after all this time of not being properly compensated (I think since 2004)?

Were they afraid, and now that Itagaki is leaving, they have no fear? : /

It raises the damages claims to wait until you get closer to a statute of limitations generally - because then the lost amounts could get you some interest. People looking for lost wages/bonuses always wait a while to file.

I'm sure Microsoft would take Team Ninja and Itagaki and buy the NG and DOA from Tecmo then Tecmo would need to merge with some company like Square did with Enix cause that creator of FF left.

Microsoft better be smart with this and take Team Ninja and Itagaki and buy NG and DOA before anything they need more First party developers cause Rare seemed smart at the beginning then messed everything up with trying to get a casual audience games like Viva pinata and Banjo when they should have make another Perfect Dark

You're weeks late, it was the perfect time to sell when Itagaki announced his departure. The value will be in the shitter after this news.

I think that had more to do with this

"...and allegations that Yasuda "made demeaning remarks" about him to other Tecmo employees, which resulted in "significant emotional distress" and "worsening [of his] personal relationships and work environment.""

Either way, more powahr to the peoples!

M$ time to start spending that money and getting Team Ninja and Itagaki.

To me M$ doesn't need Tecmo just Team Ninja.

i actually wouldnt be surprised if that happened. Team Ninja certainly seems to love working on the 360 anyway. oh well, i dont think they were working on another Heavenly Sword anyway and im not really a fan of the Ninja Gaiden series, so eat your heart out MS, go get em!

They have the money so paying up on bonuses shouldn't be an issue unless M$ truly wants to get sued also.

M$ nows you're chance to Rival Sony's Tekken and God of War with Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive.

M$ better acquire Team Ninja cause Tecmo just seems wasteful(what have they've done other than Fatal Frame and that Bowling thing?) and it might cause problems with people like Itagaki and Team Ninja if their former employees are at the same company.

Tecmo are morons. You don't treat a talented team like crap and expect profits to roll in constantly. Considering how important Team Ninja were to Tecmo, this should have been even more obvious.

Me thinks they probably weren't granted any to begin with, and now think they're owed it.

Japanese companies never pay for overtime. I thought that was the rules?

Japanese companies work on a loyalty system, which basically meas you work 100 hrs unpaid overtime a week for the 1st 10 years, and then kick back and play golf for the rest of your career.

Darn youngsters with their western ideas!
