The sad truth is Guantanamo detainees do have more rights than him. Terrorism FTW!

He is a terrorist himself... he just terrorizes people in other ways. Much like how RIAA and MPAA terrorizes people with their stupid lawsuits

EVERY person has the RIGHT to a fair trial. Presumed innocent before proven guilty. Justice and the US Constitution FTW.

Quick question: where in the Constitution does it say that the included text applies to foreign nationals in foreign territory? 'Cause that's what Gitmo detainees are.

Constitution does not mention that the rights are only for citizens

"...foreign nationals in foreign territory" You think I don't know that? NEWS FLASH: On June 12th the US Supreme Court ruled that Guantanamo detainees were entitled to the protection of the US Constitution. Why do you think the administration locks them away over there? Where's our "moral high ground"? Where has that gone?

He knows the end is coming. In that hearing he walked out on he said, "Jack Thompson, presently a lawyer." as his intro to the court.

Your 15 minutes of shame are ticking down.

I don't have the highest regard for lawyers (no offense to Nato, I have several friends who are attorneys), but seriously, Mr. Thompson really gives the profession a black eye.

Uh, he happens to be the major opponent against videogames including the best selling Grand Theft Auto IV and he's about to lose his license effectively ending his professional push to censor our industry.

You might not like him but don't think this isn't a story that relates to games.

The further he takes this the larger his fall will be.

January 2009: the new president's first act is to remove JT from the country on behalf of all decent people in the US.

I'm going to miss him. We need guys like Jack to prove our points for us. When the self-proclaimed leader of the opposition is a whacko like him, it makes it a lot easier to make a cogent, rational argument.

You don't even have to make a good point against him...just one that isn't bat shit crazy.

Once he's gone, we'll actually have to start trying.

We'll miss ya, buddy!

Fox News will have him on just as easily as a pundit/activist just as easily as they used to have him on as a lawyer. They hate video games and the people who play them. This guy isn't going anywhere.
