Whoever managed the add isn't a jerk, just lazy. He got permission from whoever owned it to use it, he just didn't personally seek out the composer to make sure it didn't offend him.

Yeah the composer certainly is a douche. Anyone who "passionately" supports any political candidate is a douche, not to mention a clueless moron. As always the only candidates worth voting for dropped out because their party didn't like the fact that they had actual ideas and didn't run their platform on non-issues. That or they lacked adequate funding from lobbyist groups.

well, I do agree that this is remotely connected to videogames

Anyway, what is funny is that the track is called "Casualties of War" and the ad is titled "Safe", not only that, but McCain is pro-war...

odd how McCain plays the anti-war stance in this Ad. I mean most politicians will lie about their policies at some point to appeal to the most people, but they rarely make it so blatant and in the form of a commercial that will play over and over again.
What was that? stay in Iraq for 100 more years?

Not saying McCain's or Obama's position is correct, but there is a major difference between liking war and wanting to not make it easy for Iraqi's to kill each other.

Plus I think any former prisoner of war isn't going to be able to like war. Regardless of whether or not his policies suck, he is being honest.

At least the debate is higher than "WE MUST BET SADDDAM OR TEH TERROOISTS WIN!" The Republicans overplayed that card so much, not even the dumbest trailer dweller believes it now. Same goes for WMDs. Any moron who tries that argument now gets laughed at in their faces.

It doesn't matter. The Bush administration has already won. All your money was siphoned off into Haliburton and into the pockets of other greedy old men, so all you can do is play a fiddle as your economy burns.

Let's get the platforms straight. Obama has insisted we make a timetable, not "pull out." McCain's timetable has been, his words, 100 years if that's what it takes.

What's unreasonable about requiring the Iraqis to step it up or face consequences?

I think Obama's definitely got the upper hand argument here.

I'm with Bootes on this, the only Democrat crazy enough to sponsor a Saigon-style wholesale withdrawal from Iraq was Kucinich, and he's long gone

But i agree it's a bad idea to leave a power vacuum, it's just a worse idea to set up a permanent occupation

You clowns. If you had actually heard McCain make the 100 year statement, you wouldn't be using it in your "debates". Must have been watching MSNBC or any of the other media elites. Learn to think for yourselves.

McCain said he wouldn't care about having a presence in Iraq for the next 100 years as long as ITS NOT HARMING ANYONE. Don't believe me? Look it up, morons.

Ron Paul rules! He's the only politician that have NEVER voted to RAISE his own pay. Can Obama say that?

Why is Obama so popular? Because he caters to the Status Quo.

Obama is a lawyer, that means he pretty much lies for a living. Ron Paul is a Doctor. Who would you trust?

When George Bush ran for president in 2000 his campaign platform was about non intervention and not being the world police and not expanding government. He didn't live up to his promises.
Remember, politician will say anything for your vote. Obama is no different and when he is elected you all shall see.

Ron Paul was never a fad. He can't even get any air time because the Status Quo fears someone like Ron Paul. He doesn't get the media hype like Obama does.

That goes back to my point that the media has built up Obama since the DNC 2004. It's not the media's decision to not give Ron Paul air time because he's unelectable. That's for the voters to decide. But of course that goes back to the Status Quo thing I said before. You're all zombies of the mass media.

we're not zombies of the media, we're zombies of the two party system. In the immortal words of Kang (or Kodos?) in response to the idea of voting for a third party candidate:

"Go ahead. THROW your vote away!"

You may be standing up for your ideals and that's admirable. In the meantime, we'll end up with another Republican puppet in office. (Which is worse than a Democratic puppet, just sayin')

I don't support Obama (we are on opposite ends of the political scale) - but Paul was a joke. I went one of his Chicago events to hear the guy speak, and he is missing reality. The bullshit with wanting to end immunizing children in public schools is brilliant. Smallpox FTW!

If you want to be libertarian then that’s cool, but don't go over the edge.
