- Gamervision (60/100): "Don King Presents Prizefighter is a flawed boxing game with excellent presentation and some features that should make the next Fight Night team stand up and take notice. I stop short of calling it a solid effort because of the actual boxing gameplay, but 2K definitely has something to build on in the future."
- IGN (50/100): "The poorly constructed gameplay handcuffs the game from the word 'go' and it never recovers. It's neither strategic or arcadey in nature and the animations are just plain ugly to watch. Boxing fans will just have to wait for the fourth addition to the Fight Night series in 2009 for another worthy addition to their boxing library."
- 1UP (33/100): "When a boxing game gets announced with (in)famous boxing promoter Don King as the pitchman, it's hard not to take notice. But if you're looking for the second coming of Fight Night here -- or even a viable alternative -- you've gotta continue the search elsewhere."

Don King is the king of slimy douchebaggery and I hope any further attempts to profit with that terrible name end in bankruptcy.

My brother in law bought this game last week, together with Quake Wars. Poor guy... he has an horrible taste. I was recommending him The Orange Box, but he doesn't even know about Half-Life series.
We play this game on his PS3 and Quake Wars on the 360. Both games sucks very bad.

I was about to say Fernando, Prizefigter is only for 360, Wii, DS and WOW...Quake Wars on PS3? I heard it runs and looks like sh!t compared to PC and 360. Bummer.

It was a good day: he received a lot of mone from his work, so he bought like $400 of games and accesories and a new HDTV.
But because I'm mexican, I can reclaim the tax: I won like $200 dlls that day from taxes :)

hey FOXHOUND. i'll take that copy of Sonic PS3. I gave it a rental one time, and actually had a bit of fun with Sonic's action stages (the story, adventure fields, and other characters were shit). still, I have always said to myself I'd finish it if someone gave it to me for free. My roommate got this game a few days ago. I gotta admit, I was pretty impressed. Especially with all of the side-stories if you choose to build your boxer in a career-mode...which is basically the way to do it.
If you just want to fight, the boxer line-up is pretty deep, too.
