That's a really good question.

It looks like the Sonic levels of Sonic Adventure 1/2 with different camera angles. I can't tell if that's a good thing or bad thing.

I'm blown away by the gameplay. The only thing that can ruin this is bad voice acting, like in Sonic Adventure DX.

...and no chao. :(

Crossing my fingerings. Hoping this is not a glitchy mess like Sonic 2006 was.I also hope Sonic won't be tempted with picking yup firearms like some other hedgehog was...

I refuse to get excited for this. Too many times has Sega hurt Sonic's reputation.

I want to like it, the video looks really good. But I haven't seen SONICTEAM prove themselves to make a really solid 3D game yet.

Sonic adventure for the dreamcast was good, as was rush.
hopefully its a combination of those two.
but that game play looked amazing.
I think im officialy excited, even if theres a 90% chance its going to suck.
but bioware is making the ds one, so maybe their getting smarter.

Advemture was a glitchy mess, but was passable, due to being SONICTEAM's rookie effort.

Adventure 2 was a bit more polished.

Heroes went back to messy, and so was Shadow (and from what I've heard) Sonic 360/PS3.

The GBA/DS Sonic games have been solid, if not great. They're mostly straightforward, with little exploration. So, they're not bad, but still don't live up to the Genesis legacy.

1. I was thinking it back at "Sonic Adventure 1" and I'm still thinking it now: What the hell happened to planet Mobius? Did it cease to exist or something?

2. I hope that's not going to be final in-game music. They need to get whoever did the music for Sonic Rush, or even SA 1&2 (I like cheese metal!!)

3. Other than those things it looks promising. Of course, that's as positive as I'm willing to get about it before it comes out.

Anyone ever try Sonic and the Secret Rings? I wanted to try it but this review (http://www.expotv.com/videos/reviews/22/191/SecretRings/203695) makes it looks like the game plays itself and all you have to do it jump. If Sega screws up again they better retire Sonic >:(

Secret Rings is really a game that you have to play, as it had reviews that were truly polarized. I felt it was the first 3D Sonic to emulate the feel of the original games, long bursts of speed occasionally interrupted by an ill-placed enemy or obstacle, and it was the first Wii game that could not, technically, be done on the GC

And the controls literally get better the longer you play

I think this game does show some promise, but a playable demo is needed to be sure. It would be nice to see some thing a bit interesting to beat up though, rather than generic-robot-no-4.

"And no grating sidekicks in sight! We'll have more of this, please."

One of the first things confirmed about the game was that Tails and Knuckles would be playable, i think. Though those characters are equally awesome as Sonic himself
