The secret weapons of Metal Gear Solid 4

The above video doesn't spoil anything story-wise, but it does show some of the weapons you can unlock in Metal Gear Solid 4. If that's going to bother you, don't press play. Otherwise, feel free to check out some of the incredible guns (which may or may not belong to The Patriots). We can't figure out if any of these would benefit or hurt our ability to sneak -- we'd probably just lose interest and jump in, guns blazing.

I ended up having enough for it by act 5 (it was only 100,000) but as soon as i got 100,000 it went up to 150-200 thousand so it was impossible for me to get it on the first playthrough.

It does fire a lead ball, but it also has a chance of creating a tornado.

Jesus christ that gun that shoots the tornados is insane. The Solar gun was pretty awesome too, I'm currently working on getting that now. I hate tranquing bosses :(

Ummm, I think that Hideo Kojima is crazy. A flintlock rifle that causes tornadoes? The man has lost his mind. BTW, I love me some MGS. This isn't flame-bait.

Kamikaze means divine wind in japanese, so I was thinking that the gun would actually blow you up. Turns out it just makes a divine wind come. So no geopolitical symbolism here.

This is the only game that makes me regret going with the Xbox 360 (and later a Wii as well). Nothing else in the Sony library really draws me in. I used to be the biggest Sony Fanboy until PS3 came out and they basically said, "Oh, fans of Sony! You are all so great! FOR ME TO POOP ON!" I haven't really looked back or cared for Sony since then (except for my zoom lens camera, an H2 that does a pretty good job for what it has)
Oh well. If they do ever find any market for the game on the 360, I will certainly buy it. Even if this game is badass, it still doesn't warrant a purchase of a relatively inexpensive Blu-Ray player that also has a few games.
MGS4, you will be missed. :(

What Konami needs to do is release those passwords to unlock some of the really cool gear for us players that haven't yet mastered the game enough to get the Big Boss emblem.

Oh yeah and on my first playthrough I had enough DP to unlock the Tanegashima (aka the Musket). The trick is to buy it in Act 5 when Drebin slashes all his prices by half. Also managed to unlock the Solar Gun too. Trick is to use lots of V-ring ammo fired from the M870 with a scope attached. Then just make sure you get head shots.
