The hip new thing, apparently, is to utilize the Balance Board in making games -- at least, from all the announcements and rumors of late. And while we definitely think the board could be put to good use (just as our own Mike Sylvester did), we must say we're a bit wary of using the board in random action games. The Balance Board in a Spider-man game could be cool, but ... do we really need to employ our entire bodies in this web-slinging operation? If the game is fully built around the board, then great. We'll be happy to give it a try. But that's rarely the case, and if few games have managed it so far with the Wii remote, what are the odds of someone pulling off a finely-tuned Balance Board game that isn't very obvious (like skateboarding) this soon?
