Joystiq Podcast 054 - World exclusive edition

Well, Chris is out gallivanting across the country again, and (surprising no one) he's not allowed to talk about what he's doing. But we still find plenty to talk about, like secret 360 leaks, Joystiq apologies, favorite breakfast cereals and Metal Gear Solid 4. It makes sense in context, promise.
This week, we also have to thank the JPAG's Markus Wilson for capturing us at work on our mid-Atlantic oil tanker.

Sucks to be you, buddy. This is MY HOUSE! The JPAG got the 'cast 30 mins early. And I'm saying that for one purpose: to piss you off.
You couldn't have it 30 mins, anyway CTC XBL-supapaypamawio PSN-ctclaw. Because you aren't invited. And you have a stupid face.
CTC XBL-supapaypamawio PSN-ctclaw @ Jun 20th 2008 1:26PM
I hope joystiq see's how immature this guy representing their podcast is. I'm not the only one that hasn't joined because of the immature comments, I would assume that is why my comment was voted up last week. Good for you, you got the podcast 30 minutes early. I'm sure if I really wanted the podcast I could join the group and you would never know. That does me no good though because I am just fine getting my podcasts all at once every week.
CTC XBL-supapaypamawio PSN-ctclaw @ Jun 20th 2008 1:31PM
And I'm sorry to inform you, but your efforts to piss me off failed miserably.
James Lockwood @ Jun 20th 2008 2:00PM
Find yourself a sense of humour, bud. I'm going to leave it at that.
PojoMofo @ Jun 20th 2008 2:09PM
real mature there James, are you going to call him a big poopy head and kick him in the shins next?
CTC XBL-supapaypamawio PSN-ctclaw @ Jun 20th 2008 2:10PM
Try a little harder to be funny, bud. I'm going to leave it at that.
Eleniel @ Jun 20th 2008 9:59PM
People posting HERE are complaining about immature comments on the FACEBOOK GROUP? Really now? The facebook group may be a little silly but it's nowhere near the cesspool of hatred and fanboyishness that the comments section here is.
danny. @ Jun 20th 2008 1:20PM
So no more now you're a songwriter right? Not that the submissions weren't clever and all, but that stuff gave me douche chills. I bet you guys had some rough ones to get through...
James @ Jun 20th 2008 1:39PM
Mid-Atlantic oil tanker? Isn't that fields of green in the background? Land lubber, I think you're on land.
Justin McElroy @ Jun 20th 2008 1:43PM
Mid-Atlantic City.
Lots of oil there.
Korova *of the highlands* @ Jun 20th 2008 3:25PM
Nice to see you boys are helping to alleviate the energy crisis (in the world and in most podcasts).
j.howlett @ Jun 20th 2008 8:34PM
i've looked for oil in Atlantic City before, and throughout my whole life i've only ever found evidence in parking lots and garages in stain form.
Korova *of the highlands* @ Jun 22nd 2008 12:47AM
The tanker is "mysterious". To stay that way, its appearance or location cannot be disclosed or hinted at.
This podcast was a gusher!
Mark Wilson @ Jun 20th 2008 1:55PM
well as i put in the caption of the original picture. i claim them to be drilling for the great untapped resource of pretzel flipz lying unclaimed in south africa.

Justin's the man! Pulling on that rig handle with one hand, while Ludwig and Chris are using both of theirs to pull on the other.
Take note, ladies!
Guerrilla @ Jun 20th 2008 4:44PM
Chris and Ludwig are too happy to see the Pretzel Flips to notice Justin isn't using both hands. Judging by the look on Justin's face he's using the free hand to steal the bag as soon as he has a chance.
Justin McElroy @ Jun 20th 2008 4:59PM
I DRINK YOUR PRETZEL FLIPZ!

the J Walter Weatherman reference was priceless
LiK @ Jun 23rd 2008 3:43PM
Why do I love Ludwig? Because everything he said about MGS4 is absolutely 100% dead on! Ludwig's probably my fave South African in the world. ;)
Btw, I didn't know about the DS3/SIXAXIS in-joke but I think I know which part you were talking about. :D

Podcast is getting good again. The few before this one were a snooooooze-fest. Even the anniversary podcast was just plain bad except for the opening song. Glad to hear you guys hitting your stride again. See you next week.
