PopCap hints at major console collaboration

Speaking to Gamasutra, PopCap co-founder John Vechey referred to the unannounced partnership as "the coolest collaboration ever, I promise." Vechey also claims it will go down as one of the top ten collaborations of all time in the industry. Strong words, Mr. Vechey. We anxiously await the formal announcement (or maybe we'll just distract ourselves with Peggle in the meantime).

Peggle for Wii is almost like saying that the Pope is Catholic. Popcap's seen Gameloft's slice of the action and decided they can make even nore sackfulls of money through selling their entire back catalogue yet again to people who don't know any better.

I would speculate that the games may show up in Sony's Home, the way he's going on about it, but a casual gamer would probably not find themselves roaming around in that Third Life.

Peggle is a great game though I don't know why they need to "collaborate" on anything. Just port the damned thing to every platform under the sun and major a major pile of dough.
