lol when i heard the rumor i was like BS and this proved it ...i mean there were tons of videos with the designers using a ps3 controller to like work on the game and was using the 360 one to play it

actually it was smart, they don't have to spend tons of money making a port, and they got to fine tune the game to take advantage of one system, doing lots of things they probably couldn't have done otherwise.

The 360 couldn't handle MGS4. Not only that but it would have to be a 6 disc set at the least, you'd have lots of load times, etc. It's just not a good idea.
As for it being a bad business idea specifically, they know their core players are on PS3 and they sold well over 1.4mil copies worldwide already. I expect them to sell 3x that by the time everyone that wants it has it. Plus, you gotta admit it's a niche game, all the twitch shooter FPS players on the 360 would probably hate it for being too slow or having cutscenes.
But it is Konami and they have done ports before, before 2010 you just may see it on the 360, who knows.

the problem with many multiplatform is that they tend to suck more. Developers can't focus the game on just one console so quality is lost for one console or more. In most cases, the ps3 suffer from multiplatform which i think is unfair. I applaud and highly respect Kojima for keeping MGS4 ps3 exclusive. After watching the documentary, if they had decided to have that on 360, it would have mess up the mgs development so bad. The quality and efforts is just amazing.

why is that stupid they made a really good game apose to a game that was just ok for both systems and still made alot of money.
alot of comapnys need to learn were they got started from and start having pride in the product they make if any thing these games that are getting timed exculsives to 360 should really start off on the playstation then make there way over to the 360

I think it is good Monster Hunter is a PSP exclusive. It adds much needed support to PS3's little buddy/sidekick.

I bought a subscription. I thought it was fairly well done and it was an excuse to get calling all cars. So far I am happy with my decision. I like the attitude that everything Sony does should be free. Sony gives its customers substantially more for free than MS does for the 360 customers.
