Too bad the new Weezer album is absolute shit.

I feel bad that Rivers was so hurt at the reception to Pinkerton that every weezer album is now made as a musical fuck you to all the bands ex-fans.

P.S.

HEY!

Everything else is insipid produced bullshit.

Oh wow. I don't think the new album is great, and it's a bit short, but there are some good songs on there and 'Greatest Man That Ever Lived" is one of them. "Troublemaker" is fine as well. Sometimes that's just the way it is, a band evolves and it's not what we all wanted but I'm not mad. "Hashpipe" sounded lame to me when I first heard it but I'd love to play it in RockBand.

...And as to wondering how old those of us who aren't loathing the new 'red' album; I'm old.

Your stupid if you don't like the Red Album. It's a masterpiece, best work Rivers did since Pinkerton.

Truer words have never been spoken. I was so excited when I heard Weezer was doing a new album hoping it would be on par with the Blue Album but no. This feels like a big kick in the ass to all the fans.

this album really is bad and wow "the greatest man that ever lived" has got to be the worst lyrics ever written in a song and that even takes into consideration some rap songs. Having said that, these songs might be fun to sing vocally because of the diversity of rhythm and pitch.

14 tracks for $19 is pretty good, I hope that one day a full CD comes out that I want. Maybe one day they will have a method where you will buy the CD for the game and receive a digital download of it as well. That would be music gaming heaven.

I learned how to play Pork and Beans and its really, really easy so it would be boring as hell in rockband. It's only 4 chords and the beginning melody, so it would be crazy easy and no fun.

ohman ohman, I saw the headline on this article and immediately saw weezer. I was/am soooo stoked for a 'Only In Dreams' rock band track.

It's long, but the track I can really compare it to is 'Green Grass And High Tides' on rock band. Long song, not too much vocal, but a really really great instrument song. Soooo wanting that one.

I hope you're being serious, fernando, because Doolittle is one of the greatest albums of all time. youtube 'gouge away,' 'tame,' or 'here comes your man.' or any other track from this masterpiece.
