IT will be full steam ahead on MGS4, if I finish it, I have a pile o' games a mile high I havent played yet, Dark Sector being at the top of the list.

PS Tempest 2000, easily the best Jaguar game, ever, and its not even close

Dark Sector is definitely worth a playthrough. I thought the first few levels were slow, but it really picked up after that.

I think I'm going to play some Sins of a Solar Empire and maybe pick up the Spore Creature Creator. I need to finish MGS4 and play some GTAIV as well, I haven't played GTAIV more then about 3 hours since I bought it launch day:(

Beacuse you said something that could be percieved to be pro wii:

"...and play some GTAIV as well, I haven't played GTAIV more then about 3 hours since I bought it launch day:("

If your a Wii fanboy reading between the lines it says, " I haven't played GTA4 cause it sucks compared to all the Wii games that are out. GTA4 is so old Nintendo rocks. I love Wii".

And joystiqs rankings are controlled by the Wii fanboy Mafiia.

Yup, its like that, me on the other hand...white out time.

Please, if the rankings were controlled by our Mafia, then Fernando wouldn't get those auto-1-hearts

Once again, someone needs to figure out which fanboy camp is right in saying that the other camps run this site, and which camps are just paranoid

The usual: Gears, Gears, and more Gears.

I'm going to try and get started on MGS4 as well. Maybe I'll be able to get into it since it's on the PS3 as any time I log into XBL I get bombarded with Gears invites that I can't possibly resist.

Dear Randy-

During a crucial moment in MGS4 the Snake Eater theme began to play. All I could think of was your rendition which caused me to fuck up. Just thought you would like to know I was thinking of you.

Regards,
Snake

Yes yes, and a new colored Gameboy indicated a remarkable increase in volume from the system so you could Play It Louder.

Thank you! I thought I was the only person who was thinking that. Atari did have the first 64-bit system out on the market, but they only sold about 200,000 systems.

It had a 64-bit bus width, if I'm not mistaken. It has nothing to do with two 32-bit processors equalling 64 bits. Really, it's a valid claim that Jaguar is 64-bit, and I completely believe it. It was a victim of the times, and developers tended to port 16-bit games to it as a cop-out. I don't believe that 3D game play on Jaguar was ever fully realized.

The Atari was 64 bit.

I had a 64bit Object Processor which gave the Jaguar its power, also had various other processors in their to do specific tasks, check out the wiki for more info

Got MGS4 and a DS3 yesterday after work. Been playing it all day today :) I have to say...one of the BEST games Ive ever played in my life. Its just incredible. I'm currently on Act 3 and damn is it a beautiful game.

I'll take it over GTAIV for Game of The Year for sure. Gears 2 isnt out yet so I wont say it will win lol. The game is so polished its unbelievable. Must own for all PS3 owners.

I'll be playing Lego Indy, continuing to Rock with my Band, and hopefully finishing up Professor Layton. Also, Picross DS. I may also give Alone In The Dark a go, though I'm hesitant after the reviews, and SSBB comes out next week, so I may wait until that.....

16-bit sound,
32-bit CPU w/24 bit memory address,
64-bit bus.

Probably a few 4-bit and 8-bit microcontrollers in there, too.

Where would the world be without math?

By the way DS owners:

Toys R Us this Sunday: Two games, get the third free. So, go in the morning.

I will pick the new Arkanoid DS, Space Invaders DS (looks amazing, very musical), Mega Man ZX, ZX Advent, and two free games.

6 games for $80 dlls... instead of $70 dlls of Alone in the Dark.

No, the 2 custom processors were connected with a 64-bit bus. The machine just wasn't 64-bit on the whole.

Overall, the Jaguar was a great piece of hardware, it just didn't have enough cache and it was buggy. Oh yeah, and the company that made it was full of retards.

If the Wii was released with a keypad controller, everyone would have called it "innovative". Instead of mini game collections, the third party developers would flood the market with Wifi enabled chatroom programs.

Ok, for me I'm gonna play some Metal Gear Solid 3 with my friend in hopes that we can we can finish it before he goes to Australia. If we finish that I may play some Portable Ops, but I do want to try and finish Metroid Prime 1 before Super Smash Bros Brawl comes out here. I'm only about 50% through and Brawl comes out in 5 days so I got some work to do. Oh, also I have to try and find some time for some TF 2, and hope like hell that they did the pyro update better than the medic update.
