this list is a slap in the face to many fans of games that actually are classics, like Dialbo 2, Mario 64, and Half-life 2 (none of which made the list). Not to mention that WoW, Half-Life 1, and StarCraft are also much lower then they should be. I agree with everyone's statements about the majority of the games that are fairly new should not be allowed to be on this list yet. If you want to make an all time classics list then longevity is the main trait the determines a classic, so it's extremely stupid to include any game that has come out in the last 5 years or so unless it's a cultural revolution (i.e. WoW and HL2)

I agree with most of the angry statements here, however, you have to figure that this is Entertainment Weekly. Most of the readership of EW barely knows what the Dream Cast is, let alone the King's Quest.

I don't necessarily agree with the 50 that made it on the list, but I am excited as all hell that they even MADE a top 50 list. A few years ago these would have been "Best 50 Movies", "Best 50 TV Shows", and "Best 50 Books", and that's pretty much it.
