If I have enough space on my Wii, I intend to buy this. If not, tough titty, little kitty. I blame Nintendo.
But I do want to see if High Voltage Software is worthy of all the hype.

That's lame. Don't let a dumb decision by nintendo stop you from enjoying a game.

He only needs to delete a game that he hasn't played in a long time. If he wants to play it again, he can re-download the title for free.

Or wait until E3 to see what Nintendo is going to do regarding the storage issue...

I refuse to delete any more games. It's a matter of principal, damnit.

I have a 60 gig PS3 and a 20 gig Xbox 360. Both of which have filled up in the past. I've done what any sane person would do and removed the items I use infrequently.

Wii is no different.

As long as High Voltage remains dedicated to bringing quality software to the Wii, perhaps other 3rd party developers will take notice. This game reminds me of a shooty version of AudioSurf and that music reminds me of one of my favourite games ever (and the inspiration of my username), Forsaken 64. We should all grab this gem, big sales will let other devs see the the light. If this keeps up, High Voltage will do for the Wii what Rare did for the N64.

So it's a Sonic The Headgehog 2 bonus level, but with spaceships and ray guns at half speed.

Or was it F-Zero GX at half speed and ray guns? I couldn't tell.

Nah its definatly AudioSurf with ray guns. I love games like Ikaruga and Raiden and this looks to put a new spin on a classic favourite of mine. I would love to see a genuine top-down shooter on the Wii, done really well like they did with the Raiden games back in the day with massive weapons. Heck even Thunder Force IV released on virtual console would do me. Either way i am definatly getting this title. It looks like the sort of game i would love, and i wanna support High Voltage anyway i can. Im already impressed with WiiWare even tho i only got Final Fantasy: My Life As A King and i love that game a ton. This will be my next WiiWare purchase for sure. It'll keep me going till i get Naruto: Clash of a Ninja Revolution, SSBB and MK

It still looks fun. If it was a full blown $50+ game then I might agree with you. But isn't 700 wii points like $7?

It looks closer to Tempest 2000 to me.

I guess the wii is finally getting games with trippy neon lights and techno background music. Glad to see XBLA isn't the only one with those (annoying) games.

It reminds me of Kenta Cho's Torus Trooper, except not as fast.

What I really want is someone to buy the rights to Thunderforce. Technosoft is defuct, and I want more Thunderforce, dammit!

That's first thing I thought of too. It's like Torus Trooper, but not as fast, insanely exhilarating or 3-dimensional (or free). But hey it's prettier and has more powerups. Breadth-first development FTL!

Hey that looks nice, I would've loved to check it out if you know, I had somewhere to store it.

If these are procedurally generate levels, why are there only 50 of them? Doesn't this defeat the POINT of Procedural Generation?

So, what's the verdict so far? Is it worth the 700 points?
