With the release of the new (and free) multiplayer map "Boneyard", THQ flipped the magical Frontlines: Fuel of War multiplayer switch and enabled 50 player online multiplayer on all of the game's maps. A huge step up since launch, when only the map "Village" had 50 player versus enabled. Not only has multiplayer been opened up, but a patch has been released adding a "new spawn protection system, as well as expanded voice-over-IP communications, which includes squad to squad chat, proximity, and inter-vehicle communication." Enjoy your chaotic Frontlines gaming fun.

Are there even 50 people playing this game? I mean the game was ok as a rental...

I think this is enough to get me playing it again. Although it's not that popular, I actually quite enjoyed it.

Dog on it all you want, but there are still a lot of people playing it. Believe it or not, some people have different taste in games, food, music, and movies... Which must be absolutely stupid, right? Hell, there had to be at least 1 person who liked Frogger 2.... right? Anyone?

There are still tons of players on the Frontline servers. Its a great change of pace from Halo and Call of Duty.

Lots of the servers last night were maxing at 50 players last night, no lag just serious fun! With the recent price drop this game is a great pick up, most of my friends have it now & it's a nice break from call of duty 4. The frontlines community is alive and very well!

I liked this game quite a lot, there just weren't enough players online a few months ago for me to keep playing. Hopefully that will change now?
