According to a GameTrailers interview with project lead Mike Booth (video embedded above and give it a watch, 'cuz there's a bunch of informative bits to be learned), he has been confirmed that November 4th will be the date the game and its hordes of zombies hit retailers. W00t! Also available via GameTrailers are a bunch of Left 4 Dead gameplay videos to watch and drool over. So, check those out. Finally, there's a rumor circulating the internets that, according to Xbox.com's game information page, there will not only be four player online co-op but there will also be two player local split-screen co-op. Now go fanboys, go digest these meaty Left 4 Dead deets.

Seems to me that an October 28th release date would have been better. (In time for Halloween)

I'm excited about *every* single aspect of this game. Quality developer? Check. Co-op? Check. Fun/Innovative gameplay? Check. Fun/Innovative multiplayer? Check. Scary, freaky, and/or horrific? check. High replayability? Check. ZOMBIES??? Check!
I sooo can't wait. GOW2, Fallout 3, and Too Human are nice... but this will be *my* GOTY.

Hopefully, Valve is quicker with updates and patches than they were with TF2.

Awesome. The great thing about this game is when some potty arrogant 12 year old joins in the game and decides he doesn't need us and runs off he will die and the team can laugh as the zombies eat his internal organs.
