I downloaded Monkey Gone to Heaven, it is checked on the dashboard, but in the game There Goes My Gun is playable. So I am confused.

Loved the Weezer tracks this morning. Didn't have time for "Troublemaker" or any of "Doolittle."

Love the Doolittle album but the dlc tracks are waaaay boring to actually play for every instrument .... except vocals. If you're planning on singing the Pixies dlc, be prepared for some major frustration.

Why are we even talking about the new Weezer tracks when one of the best rock albums of all time is available also? Skip the gawd awful new Weezer sound and go straight to the Pixies masterpiece!!!

Dustin, I concur. The Weezer songs were the first I started off on vocals (instead of drums) probably since February.

It's disturbing you are focusing on mediocre Weezer offerings when there is a f'ing fantastic album up for download.

Doolittle is an album that came out in the 80s and is still relevant and influential.

The Red Album came out a couple of weeks ago and people are on a high because the songs are actually enjoyable.

I think it's pretty safe to say most people are going to forget about the latter when the next fun pop rock album comes out lol.

That last bit was for Kizzle. Because Kizzle is right. Pixies > Weezer.

Weezer FTW!! This will keep me busy while they work on Weezer Track Pack 2 - Old School! Hash Pipe, Undone, Jonas, Fall Together, Island in the Sun, etc, etc...

and to the Pixies fans..i am not a young un'. i grew up around the same time as the Pixies were on the scene. but i just never got into them. I DL'ed Doolittle on Amazon last week and listened to it...but nothing really caught my ear as an awesome Rock Band classic. what am i missing here? which tracks should i check out?

Seriously, if you buy Weezer then you're part of the problem. And the terrorist win. And an angel dies. And so does a kitten. Seriously.

writers of xbox360fanboy.com... please.. just stop.. you're hurting your image. Stick to the facts and reviews of GAMES and demos please, leave the music genre alone (especially when you have no idea what you're talking about)

Hey, Their not music experts but they each have their own tastes. Just cause Dustin enjoys Weezer and you probably enjoy Maiden, Priest or Slayer should not stop him from stating his opinion on some damn good songs. I'm sorry if you don't like weezer, There is something wrong with you.

I'm definitely picking up that "Troublemaker" track. I had to listen to that about 4 times in a row, very catchy. Only about 2-3 of the Pixies songs sound fun enough to play. A la carte DLC for the win!

I don't think any of the important bands from the last twenty years have namechecked Weezer as a major influence.

Whatever your opinion of them, Nirvana and Radiohead have more critical and commercial cachet than anyone whose favourite album was Pinkerton.

The Pixies are a far greater band than Weezer, however, I don't know if many Pixies songs would be very well suited for Rock Band

And hey, I just noticed you named there. Tool and Meshuggah? Good bands, I know. But the majority of metal heads I personally know (that are in real bands) find Weezer as an influence. So I don't know, You should open your ears to different kinds of shit, Cause I think Weezer is as good as Tool and better than Meshuggah.

Weezer is one of my all time favorites, don't get me wrong, I'd buy Blue or Pinkerton (and possibly Green) in a heartbeat, but I cannot defend Rivers' new "style." That being said, Doolittle is freaking amazing. The Pixies advant garde style don't make every track a winner for rock band, but at least half of them are awesome, so considering the discount it might be to your advantage to pick up the full album. None of the instruments are particularly hard (except vocals,) however, they're all fun, including bass (which is a rarity.) Best tracks: Hey, Debaser, Gouge Away.

WHERE IN GOD'S NAME IS PORK & BEANS GOSH DARNIT?!

I am really annoyed that arguably their best track wasn't included.

Eh, eh.

The pairing at least works, given the many, many times Weezer have named-dropped The Pixies as pretty much their number-one influence. Or at least they used to say so when they made great records.

That said, Pinkerton is probably my most-wanted DLC. The Good Life would be a blast for all four players.
