Safecracker to open on Wii this fall

But this is no mere straight port, there are significant changes from its PC counterpart. For example, at $29.99, it will be $20 more expensive than on Steam. Also ... nope, actually that's it.

"Also ... nope, actually that's it."
Haha, looks like a miss for me.
iag25 @ Jun 24th 2008 3:54PM
zing!
samfish @ Jun 24th 2008 3:04PM
Woo! Keep those high quality games rollin' in, 3rd parties!
Jakka @ Jun 24th 2008 3:08PM
For the record, this game sucks.
Dr. @ Jun 24th 2008 3:10PM
For the record, I think you're wrong.
Jakka @ Jun 24th 2008 3:23PM
Okay I went a little over the top at that time but an average of 70% doesn't spell success for a game, considering how spoiled we are.
And who's the target demographic anyway? An average Wii owner(and 99% of them ARE average) will probably get stuck on the first puzzle.
Safiel @ Jun 24th 2008 3:51PM
Though I haven't played this game in particular, so I don't know any gameplay specifics. Don't underestimate the power of the puzzle mom!
J @ Jun 24th 2008 4:10PM
"And who's the target demographic anyway?"
Burglars?
tmacairjordan87 @ Jun 24th 2008 3:10PM
I've never even heard of this game and that's usually not a good sign...
Rodrigo @ Jun 24th 2008 3:15PM
this game is the final nail to the ps3 and 360 coffins. R.I.P. PS3 and 360

this was PC Gamers best puzzle game of 2006!
I think someone left their shovel behind.
Chase @ Jun 24th 2008 3:23PM
This is going to be even more proof for people to use when stating that the Wii prominently features mediocre flash game quality games/PC ports.
PojoMofo @ Jun 24th 2008 3:35PM
next up, Desktop Tower Defense Wii version for $29.99, then Dolphin Olympics 1 for $19.99. Statue of Wiiberty is more accurate
Shagittarius @ Jun 24th 2008 3:41PM
HAHA!
This is just more proof that the Wii prominently features mediocre flash game quality games/PC ports.
I went to gamestop today and saw some poor retarded child walking out holding Rock Band for Wii, he couldn't see well beacuse of the football helmet and slipped on his own drool.
Chilly Willy @ Jun 24th 2008 3:49PM
Dude, that's just wrong. Not "funny haha" wrong, but "whoa, that's over the line" wrong. Only you shagi could turn a wii disparaging comment into a making fun of special needs children comment as well. Kudos to you for your new low you've reached.
samfish @ Jun 24th 2008 3:50PM
Oh Shag. Don't talk that way about yourself. You aren't a child. You're just a mentally underdeveloped adult male who drools a lot has finds football helmets fashionable!
riggs @ Jun 24th 2008 3:54PM
did u then ask him for tomorrows homework?
sorry i had to :D

"it's a platform for some of the most imaginative, creative titles"
I disagree. It's a platform and it has creative and imaginative titles. It's the most part that it doesn't have.
samfish @ Jun 24th 2008 3:51PM
Boom Blox and Zack & Wiki put it miles ahead of the competition, in my opinion.
Sean @ Jun 24th 2008 3:42PM
I really liked this game. It reminded me of 7th Guest. I won't buy it again for the Wii, however.
Mr.ESC @ Jun 24th 2008 3:51PM
safecracker.
For some reason I imagined a thin white boy hiding under his bed.

Sweet Obama liked it,now I'm happy :)
ComicShaman @ Jun 24th 2008 3:54PM
Somebody alert Jack Thompson. In addition to Murder Simulators and Thug Simulators, we now have Yegg Simulators. Think of the children!
jordanr @ Jun 24th 2008 3:59PM
at least it's not their other game "nutcracker"
samfish @ Jun 24th 2008 4:53PM
I'd buy it.
It'd be a Hillary Clinton game where you run around and beat up Republicans and interns who are trying to kidnap your husband. Not a lot of nut cracking going on there, though, as neither of the classes of enemies have nuts.
But Barack Obama would be one of the level bosses.

This comment disappearing thing is getting worse, i haven't seen new comments at all in the last 20 minutes. The number on the main page keeps growing, but i hit the link and all i see are the ones that were there 20 minutes ago
PojoMofo @ Jun 24th 2008 5:35PM
Same here, that is why I double posted that link, thought it didnt work.
at least I am seeing less of my least favorite hummingbird lately
Saria the Cat @ Jun 24th 2008 11:37PM
That Wiiberty analogy really tickles my fancy.
