Ubisoft wants 'anticipation' for Assassin's Creed 2

I absoloutely love this game :) although the assassinations and investigations could be harder :(

i do fully disagree, compare this game with other games for example on ps3, than i found it very clearely that assassins creed is the best medieval rpg that is ever made, and with some help from teh fans it could be the best game ever!!!!!

however i found it a shame that assassins creed 2 is not in the medieval time anymore, its an ordinaire shooter an looks allike splinter cel!

I'll admit, the game was entirely competitive. However, those of you looking for something new and exciting around every turn, this is obviously not your game.
Now, if you are into the artistry, the graphics, the physics, the movements the sheer beauty of the game, then that is why you play it!
You make this game as good as you allow it, play it like a movie; do all the side missions; be an assassin! Emerge yourself into the story; soak it all in; enjoy it!

As for the combat, too easy? Just use your hidden blade for everything. Countering becomes harder but not entirely impossible. Mix things up a bit and just go with it, don't complain ;)

Alright, Mr. Esc, I'll have to give you the fact that sometimes the game got a little repetitive, but the fact is, although the missions were basically the same, there were constant differences. As an example, in a save the citizen mission, there are varying njumbers of actual and wandering guards with varying amounts of skill and difficulty. There are many variables that are in constant flux, such as the crowd, which can be a major hindering factor.

As for the fact that the ending is a cliffhanger, I must agree with Nick the... in the fact that movies do the exact same thing and noone complains in the least. In fact, many movies have made millions by doing just this, it adds suspense.

Finally, as for hinting at the ending, if you ever bothered to read a book, you would know this is used quite often; it is called FORSHADOWING! This again adds to the suspense, as well as giving the story a sense of being connected, which is essential in a dual story such as this one.

And now to address the actual topic at hand, Ubisoft should definetely make a sequel or two. It was a great game, and deserving of it. However, I must make two requests. First I plead, do not make it a more modern game, such as with using guns and such, as it will ruin the feel of the game that I have come to so much enjoy and associate with Assassin's Creed. I very much enjoy the swordfighting and assassinations with blades. Second, a prequal just would not be a good idea, as I think many would agree with me.

i disagreed with the negative responses, i am shocked that so maney people can find this a bad game =o, i tottally enjoyd the game, but i think there has to be some sidemissions in the kingdom district such like quests for earning new weapons or something just a few extra things, and together with the fans the next one could be the best game that's been ever made, there should be a great forum for it!!!

But what the crew of assassins creed did now is very stupid, i do not think that even 15procent of the fans appieciate what they are going to do now!!

Instead of listening to us, they are going to make the next assassins creed2 in the future, just watch on youtube! How foolish can you be?! And then they are scared that the following assassins creed 2 won't be a succes!

What youtube video did you watch that showed AC2 in the future. most of the vidoes about AC2 on youtube are fake.

Assassins creed has the potential of becoming a really good series, if it comes into the second phase. Sure the first game was a little to easy in its challanges along the campaign, but quite hard when it came to the 'Extra memory' part. Having to collect flags and killing templars all over a massive area isnt easy when the flags are really, really hard to find.

The things you could do in the game was not really what you would have expected. there was a few assassinations, but that was about 20-30 minutets, less if your fast. And the tasks were very repetetive.

I think that the game also shouldn't need to be a back and forth game, if the sequel starts to exist. instead of having to travel back and forth between the same city's they should make it like a treasure hunt for the remaning artifacts. I mean you have the concept already there. he has the map, hes got the skill. why not impliment a little 'Tomb raiding' as you could call it.

Otherwise the game's ending, its not horrible, ive seen worse, but it leaves too many questions to be asked. So im hoping to seeing what the crew of ubisoft can create if they gather there heads together again. I might not be a fanatic reviewer, or score setter, but to me Assasins creed is a 7/10. its got the skill, its got the style, but not the grace.

For all of the people that say AC I was not an entertaining game, chech to make sure that you were actually playing the right game. I agree that it was a bit repetitive, but what 5 Star game isnt? COD, 5 stars, Shoot, kill, capture, Great play, Not sure if Gears Of War was a 5 star though, i am pretty certin it was, pretty much same game play, though you are either a human, or some guy that climbed out of my Gym Teachers ass! Any ways, just saying that AC was a great hit, and can't wait for ACII.

assasins creed 2 should be released soon because i just beat the game and i don't care about anticipation because i bet that if they released the game now everybody that has AC1 will buy AC2

i think the game is great it a load of fun and i cant wate for part 2. to me the ends looks like that if there is a part 2 it will be outside of the animus im not sure if i like the idea of that. but if u do discide to do it it beter be with the smae person and same cloths and wepons i dont mine adding a gun or 2 but make if fun not all about shooting assasanating is more fun

Assassins creed was awesome but way too easy. Assassinating every guy was pretty much the same. You would walk in and either kill the guy and then fight his soldiers, or fight his soldiers and then kill the guy.
If they are to make a second game i would hope that it is a little more challenging and with better killing moves (countering an enemies attacks was way to easy).

The first assassins creed yeah i agreebit easy but so much and i cant wait for the second one to come out it will b awesome. ive seen the trailer for the second one and it looks amazing and looks alot better than the first.

The Game was Fun. It had Flaws. Like every game

assassins creed is one of the greatest games ever.
i saw no repetition because i was overcome in awe.
i loved free running throughout the cities and taking soldiers 20 at a time. it was perfect.
my only suggestion is that the 2nd game be placed in a modern day city, so you can endlessly explore and climb buildings and maybe fight cops or mobsters or something. that would be amazing. whatever follows the storyline and as long as its not too different from the first im satisfied though.

I started the game in March, couldn't get past a certain section picked it up yesterday and finally finished it. Loved the ending I want to know more. If you google Assasins Creed ending there are alot of explanations about what it means. I am looking forward to the 2nd and the 3rd. Probably take me just as long to finish.

Ok everyone who is complaining about AS1 needs to stfu. Its my favorite game. Its true its a bit repetitive but i dont care its amazing. Its so different from every other game and it needs a sequel. Not just a sequel eventually we need it now.

theres no doubt that assasin's creed was a very well made video game and had a great plot and story line. however, it could have been much more challenging and less repetitive with the tasks. If they were to make a second game, i think that the game shouldn't be limited to simple side missions such as view points and rescuing citizens.

Will address 2 points here. First those who are talking about seeing a trailer for AC2, you have been duped, no such thing exists only fakes on you tube. The first place you will see one is on the official AC site...till you see one there, know the rest are fake.

Second. Although the game play was somewhat repetitive, I still found it very entertaining. Those who said the cities were similar not sure what game you were playing. Damascus was all low rooftops, very few tall buildings, and very few crumbling buildings, getting around Damascus was very easy by rooftop. ACRE had the tallest buildings and was very varied even withen its own city. Signs of a past battle were everywhere, with half destroyed buildings, and other various obstacles, then a whole section by the sea, which was amazing. Jerusalem was vast and large and a beautiful city, also much more crowded then the other 2 cities.

I really enjoyed the missions, some of the assasination missions were quite challenging, taking out targets on busy streets without being seen, or having your cover blown by a crazy man. The game changed as you went on, the more killing you did the more difficult it became to hide, towards the end of the game, even if you were just spotted by guards, unless you were blending they would attack.

I do however wish they would have made the templers and the main targets a bit more difficult to kill.

UNLIKE A BUNCH OF YOU!!!!!! I am anticipating this sequal greatly! I loved the first game and the smoothness of the actions. Sure the game was easy and somewhat repetative, but that doiesn't make it any less of an amazing game. The repeating wasn't too bad considering that fact that you could do what you wanted HOW you wanted. The story was very gripping to me and I just HAVE to know what happens next because let's all admit, the ending SUCKED for us who were involved in the plot. CAN'T WAIT FOR A SEQUAL!!!!!

I really hope they make a second. if they looked on youtube, they would see how many views the fake trailers have for assassins creed 2. if they want anticipation, i think the have it. ill buy it the first day it comes out. infact, ill pre order it! assassins creed 1 is the first ever game i played on xbox 360, so i will definitely buy the 2nd.
