This reminds me a lot of a game I used to play called Madden NFL 08.

ah c'mon, you have to at least give them credit on the presentation. It sounds like they beefed it up a bit and that is an area where the old 2k series whooped Madden's ass.

I'm not sure what's more sad.The fact that EA keeps making them or the fact that Joystiq keeps having those "hands-on"'s over the same game each year.

Why was 6 afraid of 7?

Because 7 8 9!

I know, right? I was at this party with 5 and 3 and we saw 7 there. He was just staring at 9.

Ever since 2 and 9 broke up, 7 has just been waiting to gobble 9 up.

And then it happened...

I swear to myself every year since NFL 2K5 that I won't buy another football game.

But there I am, waiting in line at 11:00 for the midnight launch.

Kidding!!!

...I wish.

Ha ha ha. Maybe you have to use the magic password:

This game had me at Destructible envviroments. Clowing up your own base has never been so much fun!

Oh yay! Another Madden means that all is right in the world. At this point I would fear the end of days if there wasn't a Madden to milk money from all the people who couldn't live with last year's rosters.

Here's to the new Madden 09.5, just in case anyone's traded edition.

yeah i think it would look sweet with the euphoria engine and the different tackles. I don't see why everyone is hating and saying this seems like 08 and 07 again, sounds to me like they have made a lot of improvements such as online leagues, and with chris collensworth telling you what you did wrong sounds like it will be a more realistic experience. Im not too excited about the rewind feature but I liked the idea that kevin had for a mini game for it. I dont really see what else they can do with madden though, its a football game it is the same thing year after year, just like the nfl is the same thing year after year.

If yer gonna talk about a cool-ass store like JC Penney's, at least know how to spell their damned super-ginchy name.

"and it's definitely come a long way since Madden 08. How many yards? Read on!"

lol. That almost makes it sound as a new game. We you have no competition you really don't have to make new stuff, you already have the most and only attractive product of its kind.

With Madden I feel like I'm getting battered spouse syndrome...

Me: "Not again Madden, not after the way you treated me last year"

Madden: "Naw baby, I'm different now. There was this whole new generation I had to adjust, it'll be better now. Trust me. Comon baby, nobody loves you like I do."

As a Bears fan, it's always comforting to know that both his first and last passes as a pro were both interceptions. And it's comforting to know that the Bears were the team that caught the interception that put Favre as the all time leader in the category.

Still yawning. The game will still have the biggest flaw i cant get around, and that it lack of animations and overly aggressive clipping/player contact. Backbreaker FTW

Does '09 include dynamic audibles, like the PS2 version, or only pre-cut audibles, like '08 on 360?

Does '09 include a smart playclock, like the PS2 version, or only a ordinary playclock, like '08 on 360?

Without these features, there's no way I'm buying or playing. Although maybe I should just buy the PS2 version.
