Eyes appear in Blizzard splash screen

We know we've promised ourselves over and over again that we'd stop falling for artificially generated "tricklehype" countdowns or in Blizzard's case, a weird, ice-covered splash screen that's been evolving over the past few days. But come on, man, it's Blizzard. If you can't get excited for a big secret from Blizzard we're not even sure you can call yourself a gamer. ... Also, it's a slow news week.

So, what's today's revelation? Eyes. The crack in the ice has widened and we can now pretty clearly see a set of eyes, or, more accurately, eye slits. Our buddies at WoW Insider have posted some speculation on who it could be (spoiler alert: they have no clue), but we're more interested in what you think: Who's hiding behind the ice? Diablo? Arthas? Baleog the Fierce?

I noted in a previous post with regard to the splash screen that the CSS File contains some interesting images;

http://us.media.blizzard.com/232309/master.css is the CSS file which can be found in the Splash Screen's source code.

Just adding then to what I already commented on in the previous post - another image has been added to the CSS, which means:

- Another peice of the puzzle, heres the current complete image, including all the other three previous images: http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/9356/fourthimagecompletegp3.jpg . It would now appear that the complete image is made of 6 sub images, which are being slowly revealed in the CSS.

- With the images all having numbers, and those numbers could equate to letters, our current letters are: W, O, D and the new one P

- Each of the images have a prefix in the CSS code before they are specified - Thus far we have Tundra, Cavern, Icy, and the latest one is "Cold" (Bit of a theme here huh?)

Diablofans.com, among others, are also noting that the "Purple Creature" is a characterization of Michael Dashow's signature purple walrus. Michael Dashow was a character artist on Diablo II.

It has a pentagon of runes... There's only one Blizzard franchise with pentagons used in the artwork.

Seriously though, Im guessing at either Diablo or something different and not a new game. The furthest right runic symbol is that of a Hel Rune from Diablo II. I don't recognise the others but if they are from other games, I am assuming its some new battle.net online service whereby all your blizzard game accounts are merged allowing you to chat outside games and compare each others gamercard-like profiles.

I want Diablo though.

Well, if you look at the shape the glass makes surroundig the eyes, it quite blatantly makes one of two things:
