For those who can't make it out to Paris for this weekend's Worldwide Invitational, Blizzard is offering live streams of the main stage and tournament stage, in both low-resolution (400kbits) and high-resolution (1000kbits) modes. While the tournament stage might be less interesting, the main stage is where Blizzard is expected to make its big announcement.
The stream requires the Octoshape browser plug-in; if you're planning to watch the event, we recommend getting everything ready ahead of time. Don't forget to vote in our predictions poll and keep an eye on WoW Insider for extensive WWI coverage.

5:45AM EST and 2:45AM PST. Seeing as how I live in Washington, there's no way in hell I'm getting up at 2:45 to watch it.

WTF I downloaded Octoshape and tried it with the links from that Blizzard site, but Windows Media Player 10 won't play it. Also, Octoshape in traymode says that it isn't available at the moment.
How come? It said in the Blizzard webiste that it could be tested? :( Help me out here, please.

From what I've seen there is no test stream available yet for some reason. Try to find another site that uses the Octoshape stream and try it out there. I think there is actually a Firefox plugin that is made to test Octoshape. I could be wrong though
