Stootsi.com has a refurbished 360 Premium for $195.99 including shipping. Not a bad deal. I bought a refurbished one 2 years ago and have not had any problem....It comes with the same warranty as new.

I hope the price drops on the Elite too. I am still within the window to return mine to Target, so the price matching would be nice.

If you look at the ad, it also show NCAA 09, which is supposed to be released around July 15th. They usually put the games in the ad, that will be released the following Tuesday. Looks like this may be the right time frame. Man, I should have held out. Here's hoping for a PS3 price drop!

I just want to point out how obvious it is that you typed MS and went back to change it to M$, hence the lack of a space. So, did you think that would add an element of cool to your statement? Should it also be a P$3, since they are out to make money too?

I'm not sure this is an official price drop. With "limited quantities" and "no rain checks" it looks more like a K-Mart sale. People can keep hoping though. It does say "new low price", which would imply it's staying there.

I don't think its just a Kmart sale, remember there was a similar situation when the 60gb ps3 went on sale and was then replaced by the 80gb. I think MS will be releasing a new model to replace the 20gb with one that has a larger harddrive atleast.

oh, and sale is unlikely, kmart almost never (or never within the last few years) has sales on game hardware. there is a chance that it is a clearence markdown, as indicated by the no rainchecks. Limited quantities is always a restriction with hardware at kmart stores when specials bundles or high demand exist.

clearance would also explain the NEW LOW PRICE assuming other retailers dont follow suit, as it would not (unless a misprint) go back up.

take note that the add says "limited quantities, no rain checks" It might mean that they are trying to get rid of the 20GB stock up and probably introduce a new model soon. Makes sense right?
