This is about the most random old game series that a developer could ever think to revive.

Great memories of this game as a kid though, was actually playing it the other day on my NDS (R4 card).

Considering I actually owned the original game like 15 years ago or so, no, I'm not pirating it.

Here, let me start trouble:

Wonderboy > Adventure Island

...well, trouble if this were like 1989.

No, Wonderboy = Adventure Island. Exactly the same game.

Except one of them had a hat.

"Except one of them had a had"

Exactly - so they are NOT the same. So which is better..game with hat, or game with no hat?

I liked this series as a child, however, I slightly liked the sequel it had for the NES because of the dragons you could get in a stage. Either way, both games were awesome.

Yay! Let's hope it retains the fun the NES games had, or else I'll be disappointed.

The original game, which I have somewhere around the house, was damn hard. I think I still have nightmares about it.

It was fun on the NES, but that game was too simplistic was too simplistic to even work on the SNES - not to mention the Wii. It'll take some serious revamping for this to be anything other than a crap nostalgia remake.

Are Tina and Master Higgins crackheads? Or maybe they ate too much candy. The one thing I do know....

They are a match made in 1 tooth heaven.
