If you plan on visiting Washington for the event, you could. All you need to do is register: http://www.pennyarcadeexpo.com/registration.php

It's not like E3. It's open to everyone.

oh good to know.
Ive been emotionally ruined by E3s exclusivity ever since a was a wee lad.
I wonder if they will have a blindfolded piano player this year.

I don't want to think about a female whale cumming.

How slimy!

Bungie has been at this event for the past couple of years. They are usually just selling cool Halo stuff but don't have any cool videos or demos or anything.
Last year they were selling a lot of apparel and collectibles. Hopefully this year will be something better.

Good luck getting a hotel close by. I had to settle for a crappy one half a mile away. But, meh, sounds like the walk will be worth it. Can't wait.

I got one of the hotels they display on their website a block from the convention. That was a couple of months ago, they might be full now.

Yeah, they're full up. I think I'll get both my tickets and my hotel in march next year.

You guys can take the bus. There are plenty of hotels in downtown Seattle and Bellevue.

The ESA should be heavily lobbied to hold their E3 conferences at PAX

Thus making perfection

I shall be there with bells(perhaps literally, I'm undecided) on. Living in the Seattle area, it is my gaming duty to do such.

I see Bungies there hopefully we get some info on Halo 4 or some other Haloverse project maybe they can bring back Marathon or maybe something entirely new that has nothing to do with Halo or any game they've worked on before.

Been to PAX the last two years, and i highly recommend it! Living in Seattle, it's great that its now in the WA state convention center. It's closer, bigger, and with better access.

Dunno if I'll be able to go this year. My first child is due any day now! But we are both big gamers, so if she's an easy child, we may!

That's really not a bad showing - you kinda made it sound like there would be a handful (literally) of dev's and pub's there.
