Rainbow Six Vegas 2 trailer explains Fan Pack contents
Ubisoft recently released a video explaining some of the major changes included in their upcoming free expansion to Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and we think it's a fairly safe bet that fans will be pleased. Included in said trailer is a look at the much-requested additions that should make Call of Duty 4 feel sincerely flattered, such as the new grenade indicator and post-elite ranks, as well as the three "new" (see: re-lit and re-textured) maps which will also be made available. Also included are details concerning the new "High Stakes" mode, where health regeneration will be disabled, and where players will amass extra experience points by verbally disparaging the skills of their Low Stakes brethren. We can't wait!

I was interested in this game, but did they ever get around to fixing the lag problems in online multi?

Way to half ass an update ubisoft.

This isnt an update, its an expansion. And they can half ass it as much as they want considering its free. Once they start charging money, then you can complain.

I don't consider changing the time of day on two maps and adding a map from a previous game an expansion. Releasing simple updates to make the multiplayer component less frustrating and more exciting doesn't make this an expansion either. People should expect updates like this to be free considering they paid $60 for the game.

This game in general to me felt "half asses".
Biggest 1.5 sequel of 2008 for me.
Oh and the multiplayer was unplayable for me and my friends here across the atlantic.

I have enjoyed R6V & R6V2, but not fixing core multiplayer issues is the main reason why I wont touch this game anymore. Sticking with Battlefield Bad Company, much better multiplayer by far.. And a whole lot less lag. Until they fix the horrible network code, I wont even bother consider getting any future R6 title.. Not to mention the maps look horrible, as in the lighting. Its as if lights and shadows dont exist. Could be another GameTrailers SNAFU.

Fix the asinine terrorist spawning logic. It is SO not reality based to be in a closed room that you just cleared then have a Terrorist spawn magically behind you...
