Samba has Wii maracas, Kotaku has a picture of the box. I may consider that, but not the fake guitars. There's only so much sense I'm willing to relinquish.

I only have GH III as I've never owned anything but Nintendo systems. I don't plan on getting Rock Band. Ever. But GH IV looks pretty awesome, not gonna lie. I think I'll more than likely pick it up. I already have two guitars through, so I'll probably only pick up the game disk, in spite of how cool the guitars look, and maybe the drums and mic later at some point.

Seeing as Rock Band is not compatible with the 2 Guitar Hero controller shells I've already purchased, I will be sticking to the Guitar Hero series.

For Wii, I just have Guitar Hero III. I probably won't buy GH IV for the same reason I haven't bought Rock Band. It might be a great game, but is it $160 (or whatever) great?

If you already have GHIII you shouldn't have to buy the $160 bundle. I would expect that the game will be available separately for owners of the previous game and then you can decide if you want a drum set or mic.

Personally, I have both GHIII with 2 guitars and now Rock Band with two guitars and the drum/mic. I don't like the idea of having so many accessories, but the games are enough fun to be worth it if you can afford them.

I wonder if it'll cost more to buy the drums and mike separately.

They have announced that any USB microphone will work, so you can get those cheap. Drums however, will most likely be in the $50-$90 range.

I would love to get rock band, I had the wii GH3, but got the ps3 one instead for the DLC. I am not going to buy multiple game instruments. but I wish I had the option to have a universal set, but i guess i cant enjoy to products as a consumer. At any rate if RB 2 is better than GH4 I will just get that one. even though I have a gh guitar i see activision not releasing the instrument seperate like rock band, I have sing star mics and a guitar, would only need the drums and the game.

I have GH 1 & 2 on the PS2 and have the red/black Gibson guitar.
I'll probably pick up GH:WT because of how gimped RB is. And because it is actually worth the big price tag.

I just have Guitar Hero 3. I, also, have two guitars already and I would probably buy Rock Band if there was a universal set. I'm thinking about buying On Tour, but it's pretty expensive.

I've got Rock Band Wii and I'm loving it. I'm playing it around 5 hours a day...

To those asking, yes it was definitely worth the money.

I have 3 guitars (GH2, GH3, and Rockband) as well as a set of drums and a mic for the xbox. (sorry wii, but no DLC, no money from me!) I'll probably end up buying the new full kit from GH4 as well. This crap is expensive.

I have DDR for Wii. I really wish there was a rhythm game like Ouendan that made full use of the Wiimote.

My house has Rockband for the PS3. The only other rhythm games I have are the PSP renditions of DJ Max. I don't particularly like peripherals of any kind because of the amount of space they take up. I don't intend to buy any more rhythm games in the near future.

I have GH3 for the Wii. My friend got Rock Band for the Wii and doesn't really like it because there are no items to buy or custom characters / band to create like the Xbox version. I bought GH:Aerosmith for the Wii yesterday and like it too. It is very similar to GH3 except for the songs. I will probably buy GH:World Tour when it comes out too. Unless Rock Band 2 contains more features for the Wii, I will be sticking with Guitar Hero.
