UK = England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland

Saying "England" in this context is akin to a product launching in the USA and someone declaring it to be only available in Wisconsin.

Yeah, but the US never went to war with Wales in order to gain their independence. I think England works in this context, even though the UK is comprised of more territories.

It doesn't, they are separate countries.

Your example only proves the point.

Not really just different nations in different regions. The UK is one country. Wales can't declare war on France and neither can England or the others.

Wales has been legally part of England since 1542 (like a giant County....) and was unofficially part of England since the 1200's technically when England declares/d war on Country (or them on England) so did/does Wales... So -1 for you.

As for what makes a Country a Country and not a state/nation is a matter of debate and personal opinion.

Back to the controller, when can we expect to see the DualShock as part of a bundle?

I'm suprised. Quite surprised. I thought this was already out in the UK. It seems its coming out quite late and at quite a high price. I can understand why you'd say no to £40!

It feels like this has been out in North America for quite a while.

I'm probably alone here, but the dualshock 3 is probably my favorite traditional controller ever.

You aren't alone. I love it. Although I prefer the non-trigger PS2 version, simply because I dont play FPS games. So I would rather R2 and L2 be buttons and not triggers.

I know that VAT tax is expensive, like 16%. But that's a lot of money for a rumbling controller that was released 7 months later than Japan, and almost 2 years later than it should have been.

Someone needs to remind whoever sets these prices that the exchange rate is 2 $/£, not 1.25.

£40 in the UK? Well I'm glad I picked mine up abroad. Didn't expect it would cost twice as much over here though /endsarcasm.

"Crack open a can of Bud"
They're fighting of a hostile takeover by a Belgian company for the moment, so drinking Bud might not be the most American thing to do anymore.

I'm going to go for €59.99

Which makes the €26 I paid for it in Japan (after currency conversion) all the sweeter!

"I'm going to go for €59.99"

Some shops are already selling "official" (not imports from Asia etc) DS3s here in Finland.

The price is about 60 EUR, or 90 USD.

I believe it's possible to get it for 30-40 EUR (including postage) if you import it yourself.

Why the delay? Is the controller any different than the one already released elsewhere?

Have they started bundling DS3s in with the PS3 yet?

Like Brodie-san said, £40 probably translates to €60, but I wouldn't be surprised at €70...

Am I the only one that gets cramped up hands from the PS3 controller? I hate the convex nature of the thumb sticks. I wish they made one with concave sticks, like the 360 controller.

OMG americans really need to get over the "Oldie English" accent and way of talking .. if any american came over "the pond" and did it to my face i would have to drive you to manchester or birminham or errr .. say liverpool and watch you die for doing that accent .. its on the degrading scale of saying to an american .. "guess what we founded your country.. yeah you got nothing.. sorry"
its ok that your all over there an we are here but tbh we got some ammo to come back on.
watch yourselfs americans ..

(btw im not totally anti american .. ya got mountain dew and half my familys american.. n yeah ma lil cousins they asked me "do you knw the queen" so i said "hell yeah she plays ice hockey like a demond!!!!")
