This game looks like they ran it through the "RPG Maker". The characters all look fruity and of course, some look like they are no older than 17. Is it just me, or does Square go out of its way to find THE worst voice actors in the industry?

Kinda bitter.

But if it looks like it's going to be good, and if it is released on PS3 when not much else is going on, I wouldn't let the bitterness keep me from buying it.

So what if those guys are having trouble with the Unreal Engine? Go get more guys to work on it!
Jerks.
Screw this game.

That whole Unreal Engine-dealy is a load of bull.

Why is that other developers who also recently worked on Unreal Engine-based titles were able to get both the 360 and PS3-version out the door at the same time?

Strangelhold
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2
Turok
Army of Two
BlackSite: Area 51
Hail to the Chimp
Hour of Victory

Other devs with their own custom made 3D engines were also able to releases games for both platforms at the same time, even though they had their 360 dev kits at least a year before the PS3 dev kits. Look at Infinity Ward (Call of Duty) and Criterion Games (Burnout Paradise). Ever since Epic finished Unreal Tournament 3 for the PS3, UE3 on the PS3 is a finished product. Plenty of time for the PS3 version of The Last Remnant to catch up with the 360 version.

The whole delay is simply MS moneyhatting this timed exclusive, since this would give Last Remnant at least some semi-decent sales in Japan. If the PS3 version were to be released at the same time, it would be really obvious that MS was fighting for a lost cause.

Woah, you guys are right. Looks like XII meets XI. Still have the bitter sting of the delay though...which I'm sure most feel and will hurt sales on the PS3...unless it comes out and really is the best thing since sliced bread.

It certainly doesn't look like SE visual quality. They are usually pushing visual boundaries in every system, but this just doesn't wow. I never thought I'd see the day when Enchanted Arms looks visually better than a Squeeeeenix game.

(for the record, Enchanted Arms was terrible)

Maybe SquareEnix is making some shovelware RPGs for the 360 to fatten the bank while working on the real epic, FF13.

Bitter over the delay. I feel like, at this point in the game, blaming the Unreal Engine is like blaming your dog for eating your homework in grade school - everyone's heard it before, and no one buys it now.

The PS3 version is gonna come with nothing new maybe better Visuals but when has Graphics ever really played a signifigant role in the console wars (Xbox had better graphics than PS2 and still managed to get scraped)
The Reason I believe Last Remnant won't come with anything new because most likely unlike Eternal Sonata it will be released a month later or two months at the most anything else and then its obvious they wanted the PS3 to get extra content but it will probably see the 360 as a DLC.

Turn based combat is getting old even Square is starting to ignore it. I love Turn based combat but its old news everyone seems to have hopped onto the Real time style of play and droped the turned based to a minimum. FFXIII gonna have it so I think its gonna be the future for all RPGs.
