Anyone else think all the oversaturation of Guitar Hero and Rock Band releases will come around to kill both franchises within 2 years? How long did DDR last?

The only thing that makes this mildly attractive is the fact that the $$$ I put into DLC won't be lost in Rock Band 2.

Other than that... meh

I was actually considering buying the new guitar hero (very reluctantly) but now that Rock Band 2 will be coming out before that, who cares about guitar hero! Gimmie more rock band please!

YES!!!! This is the way to do it. I love the way they say that the DLC I have already purchased can be played in RB2. AND the dlc they provide after RB2 is released will be playable in RB1.

That is what makes me want to keep buying DLC, I know that it won't be obsolete in a month.

As for new features, this was pretty much a feature free interview, everything was teased, and a lot more will come out during E3. I am confident. My GH World Tour envy just dropped :)

"Teasdale also teased"

I was really hoping you wouldn't go there, but you did.

that article read like an info-mercial for rockband.

"At Harmonix, we sort-of thought we would implement Band World Tour Online in an update but then we realized: Why not make people pay for it!?"

I have so many acheivements left since there's no online band world tour...

How much would you pay? $1000? $500?

No, it's only five easy payments of $9.99 and a few really hard payments.

We won't tell you which ones but some of those payments are going to be a bitch!

Very nice... hoping I can dump RB1 for 2 and they'll release a RB1 song pack for 2.

Agent Orange would be awesome. Bloodstains (original version), A Cry For Help in a World Gone Mad, and Everything Turns Grey, please. Now. Thx.

Yes! Agent Orange! The old school tunes with the original members! 'Everything Turns Grey' would be perfect!
