Personally this game just looks to boring. I rather they re-release Street Fighter 3rd Strike with online play.

Oh, how I wish there were still actually arcades around these days. I guess I might have to swallow my pride and go to Dave & Busters.

...damn kids and their online play...

I actually entered in the Arcade in the mall yesterday.

They have Super Monkey Ball, with the banana shaped joystiq, Mortal Kombat 4, Ghost Squad, a vampires shooter (don't remember the name), a Harley Davidson racer with motorcycle controllers, and a Kenworth trucks racer...

Arcades are pretty scary this days...

I wish my mall still had an arcade. The one it had was OK, in that it had Mario Kart Arcade (but there was ALWAYS someone playing it, sadly) and a few classic games...

...but yeah, arcades are tragically well past their glory days.

At least I'll always have the memories! Nothing will ever top TMNT Arcade, in my mind.

Oh may I join you to your trip to memory lane? (I’m going to assume yes and proceed regardless of your answer)

There was this arcade where they had this special edition of the Xmen arcade game, well I’m not sure if it was a special edition since normally the Xmen arcade game was for 4 players like the Simpson’s, it was for 6 players. It was teh sh*t.

There are still some mayor arcades here and they are quite friendly but the nearest place is always full. They have Jurassic park with the cabinet and decoration, 3 Metal slug games, some “House of the dead” games and other Sega, classic and shooter games including the one with the Sniper rifle replica. They have more games but those are the ones I remember right now.

meh, the one that is right around the corner doesn't really have much, but there is one about 15 mins from my house that has more variety, but all I really care for is Tekken 5, SFII, Time Crisis 4, and Percussion Master (for some reason I find it more entertaining than Taiko Master)

I wonder how far apart these releases will be. With the media being show so far, it looks like SF4 is further along, but i always expected for SSFT2HD to come out way before.

A place I bowl at, "Tokyo Game Action" out in Winchendon, MA, is supposed to get the Japanese machine sometime in August. I'm not a fighting game fan, but just a heads up to those who might be in the area.

Man how I yearn for the good ol days of the arcade. I still remember the days when everyone spent their time after school and at lunch to master SFII, or when people would regularly hold freestyling contests in DDR, or when a person was really good at a game and everyone would crowd around like it was a sporting event.

*epic sigh*

Those were the days...

I love the way this game looks, but I am sick and tired of the SF2 styled game play. I would have loved to see the Alpha system used.

Jeez, i'm gonna have to trust to my terrible japanese skills and try and read that capcom post to work out where they'll be. (it aint so easy to find an arcade in tokyo these days...)

er... head pain... sweet! If i'm reading that right then I can play it on the 10th an 8 minute train rie from my house.
