Wuh!? Why? Might have been good if I'd known this a few weeks ago. I'm in Japan...wonder if I can quickly register all the stuff I've bought here and cash in.

Why does the only thing which I can afford other than out of date wallpapers have to be a Pokémon Class Schedule? T_T

ah well. The only good stuff starts at 2000 points anyway.

Why are they nuking the European stars when they're just about to start Club Nintendo down under?

I'd love to get Wii points. However, there haven't been any available since they first launched the scheme last year. I managed to bag one lot of Wii points, but since then, every time I've been back I've been told there aren't any available. Tried again just a couple of days ago: same problem.

People, calm down. :)

They're not nuking the whole Stars system. As we wrote:

"... any Club Nintendo Stars that have been in your account for more than two years are getting atomized by Nintendo."

So it's just those Stars you collected before the end of June 2006! The rest of your Stars are safe.

I would've bought a 1,000 points card a while ago, y'know when they first put them in, but the system they use for is retarded and now I can't afford them :I

This is absolutely absurd, anything worth buying from the stars catalogue costs points values that would take several years to save up anyway!

So this is what you get for being a loyal Nintendo customer!

I'd registered one game (my import of FFIVA), and then freaked out, yet only after beginning (or was it after all?) my dump into wallpapers (can't order since I live in the States, and other things were unavailable), I realized I'd registered it in 2007 (time passage comes off as wonky to me...). Ah well, I got most every wallpaper except Mario and Donkey Kong, matbe one other.

That, and I was pack-rat-ish enough to save the FFIVA wallpapers before Nintendo stopped recognizing that their not-DS/Wii games exist (except for the larger sites, such as LoZs and Golden Suns).

Hear, hear, on the America = short-end, though. Not much bonus stuff, and the matter of Metroids Prime and Fusion (in Europe and Japan, respctively) bugger me (though speedrunners prefer the initial NA version of Prime, anyway).
