lol cute song? It's epic, top gun is a great movie and I was always hoping that some day I would be able to play this song on Guitar Hero. Awesome!

As much as I hate the game, I used to pop in Top Gun for NES and just let this song play in the demo mode over and over...
This is awesome!

What are you talking about mark? I was suggesting another 80's song that would rock as free DLC...

So, we get that crap from a movie from a long time ago that nobody gives a shit about anymore?
Activision, if you truely hate us, keep it up. We're already cheating on you. With Harmonix. Harmonix knows how to treat us just right. :D
Also, for epicness, this would have been what I wanted to play on the Fourth of July: http://youtube.com/watch?v=MFLy8eGtSYo

Lets name some flicks that came out over 20 years ago:
The Godfather
Star Wars
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Citizen kane
Seven Samurai
King Kong
Ghostbusters
Blade Runner
The Shining
Taxi Driver
Do you not give a "hit" about those films?
Ass.

The difference is, some of the movies you mentioned were good.
I was not, by any means, classifying any older film as non-relevant just because of its age. If you took it that way, you're an idiot.
And thank you for pointing out I typed shit wrong. Although, if there is a word filter, that will show up as "hit" too. I doubt there is, but theres always a chance.
The point is, you idiots are trying to justify Activision giving away a free, shitty song just because its free.
The fact is, the song is crap. Then again, having just played Guitar Hero: Aerosmith earlier, I wouldn't expect any less from Activision and Neversoft.
So, go ahead. Sit there and try to justify your point as valid and point out my simple spelling mistakes, the fact is the song they're giving away for free is not worth it. Hell, they should give away MS points to those who download and play it. Pay us to play the piece of shit. At least then it might be worth it.

It wasn't really about America or Independence in the first place. Movie appeals to anyone who wants to fly (or kill Soviets)

Dude come ON! Top Gun is *the* most homoerotic movie ever made, and the soundtrack is the campest CD in my collection. When you play that shit you have to get your buddies half naked, oil them up and play beach volleyball. It's funny as hell, but...
"I think danger zone is a very macho song"?
hahaha *sings* playing... playing with the boys!
