Inside MGC has posted what appears to be a list of Xbox 360 Achievements for an unannounced --
but not unheard of --
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved sequel. It seems your neon-lit annihilation of sinister shapes will occur across several different modes this time (thanks, "Unlock All Modes" Achievement), including a "
Waves" variant, a "Pacifism" setting and something called "Deadline." A time limit, perhaps?
Though
Retro Evolved 2 has yet to be officially acknowledged, we're confident in our assertion that 200 Gamerpoints represent nothing but the icing on a delicious, octagonal cake. We can't wait to wreck 'tangles again.

The first Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved (360 DLC) had a pacifism achievement.

Yeah, I think it's: survive first min. without firing a shot and although I think I pretty much figured out that you can use the enemies' individual gravity(s) to have them stick together in a trail behind you, it's harder than it sounds and I still haven't been able to get it, but alas: I heart Geometry Wars.

I think I got 1 achievement on the first one. It is my secret shame. I can't even get the pacifist achievement (don't fire for 60 seconds).

Are you serious? Haha I own both but Stardust gets boring fast. It doesn't have that intensity that geowars has. Geowars never lets up and you stay at the edge of your seat the entire time.

I played Geometry Wars everyday for like a month (not the whole day necessarily) and I managed to get all the Achievements. I wish we could use Achievement Icons as Gamer Pictures because I would totally use the "Survive 1,000,000" achievement as mine.
I'm glad there'll be more shapes and Achievements to kill and get respectively.

i almost got that survive 1,000,000 one. i got like 995,000 and little pink square got me. never got that close again, but i did go on to get 1,300,000 or so.

I've got over 2 million! Those people at the top of the leaderboards are incredible though, I have no idea how any human could possibly get over 100 million, but they do.

I didn't have much trouble getting the Pacifist Achievement but I've never even broken 250k.
I'm much better at Grid Wars on the PC.

i only got play the demo of the first on the 360 but it was amazing. i just wish a version would come to the psn.

According to the Achievements, the game seems to implement GW: Waves from PGR4 as well as Geoms from GW: Galaxies. I'm interested in what seems like the new modes like "King" and "Deadline", and is "Pacifism" going to be a game type based on the achievement from the original GW:RE? I'm very interested in what's coming.
