More than a feeling is a DLC, so is All the Small things, but look at the icons next to them.

My guess is that RB2 makes RB1 tracks playable ZOMG...

I like what i see with this game.

Yes Sir.

It doesn't make sense that 'Panic Attack' by Dream theater would be a Solid Difficulty song-- that thing is pretty treacherous. Finger Eleven's 'Panic Attack' sucks. Maybe the song by The Paddingtons?

Um... Pinball Wizard hasn't been confirmed as Rock Band 1 DLC, and as we all know RB DLC is subject to change at harmonix's ever changing will.

First I hope it's Dream Theater and not Finger Eleven. Second, Ace of Spades was in the first Guitar Hero, couldn't that have been relegated to DLC instead? Also, Pinball Wizard is not on the list of Who DLC so I don't know where that comment came from. And I hope this list is for like quick-play or choosing a song for your own custom set-list and not Solo Tour, since they need to have a more interesting Solo Tour like Activision said they'd be doing for World Tour. But either way I still have faith that Rock Band 2 will be the superior game (not that GHWT won't be good...)

Pinball Wizard wasn't on the Who list for July's DLC. It is, however, one reason I'll be plunking down the big bucks for this ostentatious game.

This has already been confirmed to be true via a dev interview.

That's also why More Than a Feeling and All the Small Things appear in that screenshot.

Although I really want that to be Dream Theater's Panic Attack, I highly doubt it.
The drum and bass parts in that song are too difficult for the "solid" difficulty in Rock Band. You would need a double bass pedal, plus the song's 8 minutes long.

Exactly what I thought. While the initial reaction was a pleasant surprise, I realized it was very improbable for it to be Dream Theater's.

Unless it's Rock Band 2's "Through The Fire And Flames"

Alas, the difficulty setting doesn't point in this direction either.

At this point I am, at best, pessimistic but with certain hope.

Since your DLC form Rock Band 1 some of the songs that appear to be RB1 may be just that. They could be DLC from Rock Band 1 in the set list because it is compatible not because it is on the disc. i.e. All the Small Things.

Chop Suey is win.

As for "Panic Attack", I have 2 observations:
1) If it's Dream Theater, then why the hell did they pick that song? It's not even on my top 10 of DT songs. Also, 8 minutes for reals?

2) If it's Finger Eleven, then this is totally fake. No way is it anywhere near the same difficulty as Ace of Spades.

Three most important features of RB 2 for me:

1. CHECK! RB1 DLC on RB2.
2. UNKNOWN. GH3 guitars on RB2.
3. DOUBTFUL. RB1 music from disk to HDD for RB2 use.

1. I love the fact that they're doing this
2. I'd imagine yes, sinc ethey work on RB1
3. I think they need to come up with a way to do this, I kinda see RB2 like another world tour with a new setlist, but it would suck to have to switch discs back and forth to play specific songs.

I'd be interested in getting a single DLC pack of all 58 tracks from RB1 for a reduced price, maybe have to have the disc in the drive to do the initial purchase and have 1 pack of all 58 songs for $20 or somesuch.

I was thinking the same thing. If RB1 disk in drive, download RB1 song pack possible for $10. If no RB1 disk in drive, download RB1 song pack for $40.

I just noticed something. Next to the new Rock Band 2 songs, isn't there a "2" inside of a disc icon. Could the fact that these songs are designated with a number while the DLC has its own icon point to the existence of the original Rock Band setlist?

Good List!

I had already set myself up for buying GH:WT as it had Everlong. Well you know what Neversoft? Now RB has it, and you have to impress me with another song choice.

Maybe I'll get to save money for once, though I doubt it.
