DC Universe Online images revealed on MySpace
The comic-geeks over at Big Download followed the clues left in DC comic books this week and have found a MySpace page for DC Universe Online. The site contains the painfully small first screenshots seen in the gallery below.
The MySpace page also showcases several concept drawings for the game and wallpaper downloads. Also, those who make the game's MySpace page their top friend, may get invited to Sony Online Entertainment's big reveal party later this month at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Oh God Joker looks like my pedophile neighbor HELP ME HELPPPPPP
playwhutyalike @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:42PM
A girl I tried to date a couple years back asked me if I was a pedophile. I replied, "Pedophile? That's a pretty big word for an eight year old."
LiqwidZero @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:06PM
Can't wait! This'll be the first MMO that I'll actually care for.
offday @ Jul 2nd 2008 5:56PM
I think this was canceled?
Meh. Marvel heroes are better anyway.
Animagnum @ Jul 2nd 2008 6:32PM
The Marvel MMO was canceled, not the DC game.
Batzarro @ Jul 2nd 2008 7:22PM
Awww...I wanted the Marvel one...(not that I have anything against DC. I just tend to to forget games I buy on Pc.And this is only coming to Pc and PS3. Man, Champions will have to make due for me.)
Maverick Saturn @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:08PM
Tight rubber outfits, peadofile joker, gay looking robin....what next?
Daniel @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:52PM
Robin has looked gay for 68 years! This game had nothing to do with it.
Sushidrew @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:08PM
Hmm, can't really tell until more information and videos come out. Looks promising though.
Nick Ritch @ Jul 2nd 2008 7:31PM
Is this Batman online or DC universe online. All I see is batman heroes and villains.
Sushidrew @ Jul 2nd 2008 8:58PM
I'm not a really big marvel fan so I can't tell you anything. All I can tell you is that joker doesn't look badass.
Dwag @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:12PM
Surprised they ain't announce its canceled already.
samfish @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:12PM
My inner nerd is pleased that they got Robin's costume right.
BSTKiller @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:15PM
Shouldn't this be filed under 'PS3' as well?
Mr.ESC @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:17PM
Hey finally Nightwing but where is Jason Todd?...Oh right.
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:49PM
You do realize Jason Todd is currently alive right?
dabamf @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:49PM
Yeah, go figure...
LaughingTarget @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:59PM
Note the use of the word currently. This indicate that, in the screwed up world of comic books, the character can die off, again, at a moment's notice and proceed to resurrect at a convenient time (usually when the writers run out of ideas for new characters) or when enough fans complain about missing the particular character.
Mr Khan @ Jul 2nd 2008 5:07PM
That's what the multiverse is for. If all else fails, the multiverse is the deus ex machina to build on everything
Also ElseWorlds, but that functions more like the "What If" Machine of DC
Luke J J @ Jul 2nd 2008 9:08PM
PS3?
hatmantc @ Jul 2nd 2008 9:36PM
Yup go to the Myspace page. it says brought to you by Sony Online Entertainment.
dabamf @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:19PM
So are there going to be 50,000 Batman's running around?
Mr.ESC @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:26PM
In Guildwars some players liked to dance like retards for hours and hours, hell if I know why but some guys do that.
I can already see dozens of Batmen dancing with the chacarron theme.
If you want this game try to get it as soon as possible because “AdamWestBatman” Nickname is going fast.
theturtle363 @ Jul 2nd 2008 5:34PM
It's going to be like City of Heroes, only you can interact with Batman and Robin and Superman etc. but you wont be able to be them
Dan @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:28PM
Wow...please tell me those are extremely early concept shots.... whoever did joker really tried too hard to catpure the crazy sadistic look... and the other shots and look of batman and the others seem very eeh....
If I was DC I would've kept those shots in-house and never let the public see them until they got a much better overhaul on the art department.
Sushi-X @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:42PM
Seriously, Tried too hard? That is the whole point of the Joker. I guess people have to complain about something. It IS the internet after all.
Dan @ Jul 2nd 2008 5:09PM
On comic book the art style and form of his face would look fine because thats how they want joker portrayed. But in these shots it just doesn't look right in my opinion... which is the point of commenting to begin with... so yea think about that for a while...
Nate @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:30PM
Robin/Nightwing time paradox!
Mr.ESC @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:36PM
Nightwing = Dick Grayson
Robin = Tim Drake.
Jason Todd = Dead Robin then Red Robin.
N00b.
playwhutyalike @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:44PM
I've found myself purchasing Nightwing bundles from Barnes and Noble lately. Good readin'.
Anticrawl @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:46PM
Note to publishers and developers. Myspace isn't the best place to reach your customers.
juju187 @ Jul 2nd 2008 5:13PM
what are you talking bout myspace is a great place.
A bunch teenie boppers, emo's, and pedophiles will surly play this game
zombienutz @ Jul 2nd 2008 5:54PM
Wow. The Joker looks goofy. By that, I mean he looks like a clown robot at some type of street carnival. I am looking forward to Champions much more then this.
Snowblind @ Jul 2nd 2008 6:54PM
I don't like the style, and frankly, I expect Champions Online to be the better game, especially as it doesn't have to worry about pre-existing super heroes.
Nick Ritch @ Jul 2nd 2008 7:31PM
Why cant they make a cool DC game in the same style as all the marvel action RPG's that would be really awesome. It doesnt sound all that fun to be some nobody hero that gets to talk to the NPC of their favorite character.
The DC games that come out are always geared towards kids. At least the marvel action RPG's are respectable games.
Yes I know marvel puts out shitty movie related games too.
Batzarro @ Jul 2nd 2008 7:28PM
How weird would it have been to have 2 games with "Comic book company name Online". At least there was a time gap between MvC and MKvsDC. Hope Top Cow Online gets here soon...
And as for the images: Joker doesn't look that creepy until you try to picture him moving his mouth.
hatmantc @ Jul 2nd 2008 8:39PM
wonder why this isnt on the PS3 fanboy page, being this is a PS3 exclusive game. since it is being published by Sony. looks like it might have promise. even though, you dont get to play with exsisting heros and you have to create your own
