Elebits 2 charging DS for Fall release
Confirming earlier rumors, Konami is giving the Elebits series another go, this time transplanting the game's charming puzzle solving to the Nintendo DS. According to IGN, Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero will once again see players interacting with the titular and tiny electric beings, coaxing them into overcoming all manner of obstacles and challenges. Obviously. What else would you do with them?
Though little is known about the game, it's expected to feature head-to-head competition through Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection, as well as local four-player battles. Look for it on shelves this Fall -- though it might be called "Eledees: The Adventures of Kai and Zero" if you're in Europe.

Oh wow, could that main character look any more like Ash from pokemon?
Still, game looks pretty cool and I had fun with the first elebits so I'll probably buy this at some point.

Could the landscape and red elebits (eledees - why we had to get the alt name I still don't know - it is not offensive, no matter how many times it is claimed to be) look any more like ChuChus and the landscape from Phantom Hourglass.

What the hell? I thought the entire point of the first Elebits was to be a charming fun physics game. Take that away, and what's left?

Apparently Pokemon.

I could see this becoming a disaster. Top down view doesn't suit moving ojects in a 3D environment unless moving objects up and down is taken away. Also why is it outside? Unless it is now some sort of RPG farse.
