As someone who bought the Oblivion Horse armor, I am deeply offended that you would compare two completely different things.

Good day sir!

You're right, the horse armor was at least kinda useful.

ZING!

Ah who am I kidding, I'll probably buy one of these with my leftover points from my Soul Calibur purchase this morning...

I think that it's about time someone at Joystiq with a little less cynicism toward the subject started posting about DLC.

True.I don't remember this kind of attitude when they were talking about those three/four shitty maps for 800 Points.

I don't know what you guys are talking about but paying $6 for three character skins is totally not a rip off.

Yeah, this is just sassy and obnoxious. If you don't like it, don't buy it. And I doubt not being able to dress up your ninja is really the thing making anyone feel like they haven't gotten their 60 dollars worth out of the game.

@Akamaru - Please. I am critical of everyone.

It's so simple-minded to think that if I am hard on one company, I'll eat the turds from another. I hope you get past that someday.

they are the "pet rock" of the internet age... Kids are obsessed with them. Personally, I think they are laced with some kind of addictive drug so that kids get hooked on getting more of them.

Things like this make games with free bonuses/unlockables seem that much better. In all honesty, they sound neat, but not neat enough to justify paying 1/8 what the whole game costs. That's insane.

I always knew Ryu had a feminine side, ever since that scene where he was crying. He puts on this macho ego impression, but deep down he's a billy elliot, he just wants to dance. The thing is, if you watch his graceful movements in-game, you will see he has the natural rythem needed to be a great dancer. Now he just needs to work on his voice.

I did not care for Ninja Gaiden 2. Felt like I was playing an arcade game from 12 years ago.

I can totally understand where they charge $2.50 cents for a some pixel clothing. I mean,it must have taken someone at LEAST 15 minutes to make those new costumes.

One can tell that you are indeed an expert on the intricacies of video game art design.

No one is making you buy them anyways....

It's not the point of being forced to buy them,it's the principle of this new bullshit trend where stuff that would be bonuses and rewards for say, beating the game on the hardest mode, has become shit they try to nickel and dime you for.
